@KaraandNate please visit south India this time..... usually foreigners just go to North of India and say they have travelled India. But most interesting part lies in southa nd northeast of India. Which is so much different than the Chaos of North India. Hoping for your visit soon!!!

Cool thing about the Taj … the pillars on each side were built leaning slightly outward so that I’m case of an earthquake, the pillars would fall away from the Taj and not on it. It’s also completely identical from all 4 sides!

Actually, the Taj Mahal is made of Red Sikri brick sandstones, it just has an outer marble coat

you shouldhave checkout the hindu temples in central and south India, those areas were relatively untouched by the Islamic invasions and hence still have a lot of temples and because each state has a different culture the temple architectures change a lot
