Thanks for the nice thoughtful and realistic review of this movie. I like how you point out the various hits and misses that we as actual storm chasers would be aware of, but without diminishing the entertainment value of the movie for the general public. Definitely excited to see this movie!

ME ME ME - PICK ME... I want the shirt after living through 3 major tornadoes in Oklahoma City - 1 that took our house in Moore OK. Fortunately for us - we were already living in Texas.... My kids say i live with my weather apps on all the time! Storm chaser wanna be!

They should NOT have been chasing in the intro, not trying to draw parallels but 4/27/11 had around 4k cape if I’m not wrong

Great review. I had the same issues with the movie also. Plus, other issues, like not having more dark menacing clouds like the original film. I'd wish the EF5 at the end was a dark blue one like Moore. LOL! Nevertheless, I still enjoyed this new Twister installment.

Terrible movie, almost gave up many times but pushed through.

If my vehicle is out of commission and getting hit by a strong to violent tornado is unavoidable, I am crawling up into the girders of an overpass if thats an option. Are they supposed to just resign themselves to getting hit in the open? Lie on the ground?
