Hello Mike, thanks for all your tips. I,m looking forward to your advice on using the RODECaster Pro 2 with the Blue Yeti Pro (via XLR) I,m hearing a small background noise when I.m silent. (And also see that on the dB level when I select mic 1.) I used your settings from this video, but I still hear for example my mouse clicking or when I’m standing here my foot move. I need to play also a bit, because it is now quickly cutting my voice after I stop speaking. Looking forward to your movies and your advice.
ОтветитьRode Procaster mic settings pls ❤
ОтветитьHi great once more Mike.
I am anxious for the settings for the Blue Yeti
Tks a Lot
Lewitt 540 plz🙏
ОтветитьHi Mike a set up w an AT2035 or SE2200a Mk II would be fab. My 2 mics of radio choice
ОтветитьHey, since you already had the original Podcaster Pro, would your settings work the same/work just as well on the first Podcaster? I decided to get the first edition as I couldn’t justify the additional 200.
Also, could you someday do settings for Lewitt mics? 🙏
The mic I'd like to see with it: RE27N/D
ОтветитьDearest Mike, thank you for all the resources you put out there. You’re the man.
Question: how would you feed audio from the Rodecaster into an ATEM mini pro mic jack AND audio monitors? I’ve been suggested a line level splitter, but I’m still unsure. Anything that come up to your expert mind?
Cheers
Looking forward to your Shure SM7B settings video 🙏🏾
ОтветитьHow about settings for the Earthworks Ethos?
ОтветитьAm I missing something, or can I not modify advanced presets after saving them?
Ответитьi use a at2035 if you have any recommended setting it would be greatly appreciated i have watched some of your other videos and man is audio hard to figure out
ОтветитьGreat stuff as always, Mike. Does anyone know if you can save these mic settings as a preset, or do you have to set them up anew every time?
ОтветитьAnyway to adjust the EQ on the Rodecaster original? Thanks
ОтветитьThis is awesome, Mike, thank you! I run a SM7B through a MOTU M2 currently, and it's really good, but I'm expanding my content so upgrading to the RCP2 which arrives next week, will be testing these settings out!
ОтветитьWhat microphone are you using
ОтветитьMy microphone favorites are the RE320 and the MXL BCD-1. I'm sure the 320 is very similar to the RE20 which you have already done a video for so how about the BCD-1.
ОтветитьYou have killer audio and a killer setup. But, if I'm looking out for you, I'd recommend a new camera. Your autofocus is less than good and it's distracting and detracts from your videos overall quality. I have personally used the Panasonic AG-CX350, Panasonic S1H, and Fujifilm X-T4 and they all have great autofocus. But really, whatever camera is the newest in whatever brand you prefer will have the best autofocus.
ОтветитьSet it up for SE Dynacaster please....
ОтветитьThis is great! Thank you for sharing. Love my Rodecaster Pro 2. Currently using it for sports play-by-play announcing. Wondering if you have any thoughts on possible setting adjustments for a Sennheiser HMD 26-II-600 broadcast headset microphone? Thanks again!
Ответитьi cant use dolby atmos on my pc with it :/
ОтветитьHello Mike, i will really appreciate if you can try a setting for Neumann BCM 104. I need for online radio. Thank you 🙏🏻
ОтветитьHi Mike, brilliant video. I've the PodMic & RCP2 and recorded as per your instructions. I'm recording for an audio book (my 3rd) and using Audacity. Without any post processing, it fails the ACX Check. Using your recommended setings (mic placement and 54dB), here's what it revealed verbatim: Peak level -12.70 dB Fail - (too low - may be overly compressed or too quiet); RMS level -33.70 dB Fail (too quiet - RMS must be in range -23 dB to -18 dB); Noise floor: -83.62 dB - Pass
In past I used Zoom H4n Pro and fixed everthing in post (a PITA). I was hoping PodMic + RCP2 would equal less post-processing and more control on input. When I tried to clean up this recording in post, a change to one element let it pass ACX, while making a preiously passed element fail. Kinda frustrating. Any wise words of wisdom? Thanks!
P.S. I noticed in the video you didn't have the Phantom (P48v) button on. Doesn't the PodMic require it? And funny how most of the comments are for non-PodMic setups!
Love your tutorial. I have an issue setting up Procaster Pro II + Atem Mini Pro. Can't figuring out how to adjust the speaker volume (red & white cable from Podcaster Pro II into Blackmagic Atem mini pro mic jack input).... Please help!
ОтветитьHow do I get it so when someone is speaking in the main mic, the other mics/audio volumes are lowered. And then when someone stops speaking in the main mic, the other mics/media volume goes back to normal?
ОтветитьHi Mike, many thanks for your lovely videos. I look forward to a video in which you advise on the settings for the Røde Broadcaster. One of the many microphones for which Rode (of course) has made a preset in the Rodecaster Pro 2.
ОтветитьI am using the procaster mic, what are your optimised settings for that mic?
ОтветитьThe sound recorded on my USB from the rodcaster has ver LOW volume despite your beautiful settings that sound well on my earphones. How may I fix this?
ОтветитьI would like to see settings for the aston stealth
ОтветитьThank you for this video! I've been looking for something just like this!
ОтветитьBlue Yeti, Mike are your using the blue yeti or blue yeti pro for the setting?
How about echo setting with we want to have the karaoke effect
Thank You Mike for the setting advice
Unsure if I left a comment already so sorry if it's the second: Can you please do Røde Procaster?
Ответитьthat was amazing! Thank you!!!!
ОтветитьAfter seeing your other video in regards to the podmic and the presets I then found this one and tried the settings here with my Duo & podmic and it sounds incredible. Thank you so much 🙏
I can’t wait to record a show now 😂
Would you recommend a cloud lifter with this device?
ОтветитьHelped out so much, thanks dude!
ОтветитьWhere'd you get the black man on the couch? I don't have one of those yet.
ОтветитьWhat is the sense in not using a high pass filter on the way in, and preferring to do it in post, while applying the other effects on the way in? Why would you prefer such an aggressive de-ess and at the same time, boost your high shelf so much? Please help me understand your logic?
ОтветитьI have a Heil PR40 - Thank for all the great videos
ОтветитьI don't have Aphex so this video wasn't for me.
ОтветитьYou are a legend; solved so many of my issues. Thanks
ОтветитьI want Rode to create a wireless "on air" light that illuminates when you pot up the mic fader. You would only need to pair the light with the Rodecaster.
Ответитьplease i have hdm 27 senheiser u can help me for adjust a good audio settings please
ОтветитьCan you please make a configuration for singers??
ОтветитьNew Lewitt Ray
ОтветитьNoise always appears when I am speaking 😔Don't understand how to get rid of it
ОтветитьRode NT-1a trying to figure out settings for it.
ОтветитьThank you very much, this was very helpful. VERY VERY helpful. Love the Rodecaster DUO. Works great! Now I need a quieter space bar, it's the only key that still registers on the mic LOL
Ответитьcould you kindly show the settings for Senheizer mkh 416
