So many families are suffering because of the keeper not being present in the home as she is commissioned to be by God. Thank you so much for this truth. I am a50 year old mother of two young teens . Unfortunately for the past 5 years they have seen me struggle with my role as a mother and homemaker and part time worker. I didn’t grow up with a mother in the home because she also worked and struggled with the ability to care for us and the home and work.
I have recently taken a position where I can work from home and as I homeschool my girls as well I am so much more content being able to be here . Thank you for your practical reminder of the calling of women to keep the home. I’m very encouraged this morning ❤

This brought tears to my eyes. I am a homeschool mom of four little children. I felt strongly that this is what the Scriptures taught me to do, but I’ve never heard it preached before, and I certainly have never heard it taught in such a gracious, beautiful way. Homemaking can be a little lonely at times, but you’ve reminded me that the Lord is here with me, and that he sees the menial tasks that I do as loving obedience. Thank you so much for your encouragement! I feel like I have a renewed focus. I was also convicted when you said the proverbs 31 woman wasn’t on her phone all the time. 😜 Lord help us be pleasing to you in every action, word, and thought.

This lesson on Womanhood is presented so beautifully!!! Thank you! I feel so blessed and fulfilled as a woman of God, and a keeper at home. There was a time that I worked, but I always prayed that the Lord would bless me to spend more time with my family. The Lord answered my prayers. Now as I homeschool my children, I see their full potential and I enjoy, knowing what they are learning instead of getting it secondhand. I tell my children that we are here for such a time as this. God provides for us every step of the way. My marriage is stronger, and my children behave better than most kids. Most of all, my home is very peaceful.

This was phenomenal! I’ve been thinking so much about Titus 2, and even more so where are the “older women” to teach us younger women how to keep the home. I prayed, because in my own life I don’t have many women who can pour into my life in this way as they are “working moms” or have a slight disdain for “only” being home. I am so incredibly grateful that God allowed me to find your page and this lesson! I’ve subscribed and am ready to glean from your teachings! God is so gracious to me! A single women cannot be a keeper at home.....sadly. She must work to support herself.

This teaching is so awesome because it is true.

There is so much more that can be said about home keeping for women like me who did choose a career even though my only desire was to be a mom and home keeper.  The world definitely deceived me.  They gave me a test and said, be an engineer even though I desired more traditional things.  I am now an excellent engineer, but would have preferred being an excellent mom and wife.  

I married a wonderful Christian man, found out we couldn’t have children and sadly were afraid to adopt children thinking they would break our hearts and reject us later.

It has been a very lonely life keeping lovely homes without children and not providing nutritious meals for my husband and I because I was too tired after working.  We both have diabetes now and just take care of ailing parents and siblings.

I love this teaching because it is true.  Please choose to do these things intentionally when you are young so that you will have God’s best and much more happiness later in your life!  It takes faith and courage to trust God with less of an income to give yourself time at home to do this.  Don’t do what I did if you desire home making.  Go for it and trust God to provide.

Lastly, my Savior has been  compassionate with me all my life.  He doesn’t abandon us in our mistakes.  He uses them for good and heals all our wounds and empty places.  Bless the Lord!  He does make a home for the lonely and fills us with purpose and joy if we let Him!
