Modeling in Cinema 4d Lite (2/5)

It might be because it's half 1 in the morning - but do you explain how to make the board at any point?
i've just arranged 64 squashed cubes (8 nulls each with 8 squashed cubes)

What's a good workflow between Blender 3.0+ and Cinema 4D Lite? Can I do most of my work in Blender and move it to After Effects for final rendering?
