30+ TAINTED Items! - Tainted Treasure Rooms Full Mod Showcase | Tboi Repentance

thanks for covering the mod! a lot of bugs in here were fixed after this was recorded (particularly the overstock one) or are going to be fixed next update. raw soylent even got some new synergies in the last item update!

Другие же предметы просто бесполезны и хуже оригиналов. Некоторые вещи просто не хуже оригинала, как холи лайт тот же. Но ты явно не захочешь терять ради этого сокровищницу.

we all love these: funny rock, funny laser, funny heart, funny head, funny spoon, funny milk, funny eye, funny dice, funny crown, funny blue crown and ofc the funny triangle
i missed any?

Most of these seem worse than their counterpart

I love these items but the arcade music starting up over and over got so grating so fasr

man's havin way too much fun with Raw Soylent xD. but that's understandable it's pretty fun to use.

Most of these items suffer from different problems
First problem is that of the item is only good if obtain at the start of a run.
Another issue is the items being very underpowered, as replacing them with their counterpart will usually be worse
Another issue is that some of these items aren't even more fun to use than their retrospective items
The final issue is that you need to have the item and get the room on the floor with two keys to even get said counterpart item, and you have to get rid of the original just to get it
Some of these items are done very well and are worth the replacement but some need a buff

I'm losing my grip on reality. Tboi has cut into my sleep schedule, making it so I go to sleep at 3: 00 in the morning. I am constantly, no matter what I do, playing this stupid poopy game on my Nintendo Switch. I love it so much but I hate it so much.

Can we all agree that fork bender leviathan and the bottle are the worse tainted ver of the original and the other are not good as the original but they are ok i guess but these 3 i named are the worse of the worse

Do Glad Bombs work with the Detonator, letting you keep them on the ground as long as you want in a hostile room? That seems like a really powerful and dangerous synergy if they do…

I think this mechanic would work better with more middling or esoteric items, where the tradeoff is making them more risky but also more useful
For instance, take The Bean, spawn a tainted treasure room, and get Bean Chili
The item deals more knockback and the poison has a higher damage multiplier, but every time it's used it creates 2-4 small puddles of harmful creep in a certain radius around you. So you're more effective at pushing away crowds, but you also need to move carefully to get the most out of it

Tech organelle + remote detonator = ?

all of these should do something special if you also have the item that it’s a counterpart to

Do bombs spawned from Anarchists cook book,curse of the tower or explosive diarrhea get affected from Glad bombs ?

Dryad’s Blessing seems to be a reference to Terraria

The war Maiden is continuum for isaac

A great synergy for the glad bombs would be the bomb detonater and pyro for the bombs themselves

I honestly think this mod is really fantastic, even though some of the items are pretty bad, I still love how the items are designed like Tainted Characters, most tainted characters are characters with a major upside and a major downside, and most of these items do that.

Ngl I would maybe only take 2-3 of these items consistently over their normal counterparts. I hope the mod has gotten tweaked since this showcase as its genuinely a great idea

Glad bombs plus remote detonator

Fork bender= circle of protection

Fork Bender should scale with damage and be every 5th-8th shot an enemy fires.
The Bottle needs a bit of a full revamp. I'd say that when you deal enough damage, the end should break and drop glass shards, and you don't have to wait for the broken bottle to appear. Once you break that one, however, it should also drop glass, and then you have to wait like 3 seconds for a new bottle. Also the broken bottle should apply Bleed like the glass shards.
