The amazing thing with the SCAN hunts is that they're the only ones you can do a repel trick with, because the Pokémon is always higher leveled :D

This is a shorter hunt than it took me for my Shiny Totodile in HGSS(for my shinylocke); good job nevertheless!

I haven't tried it yet but what do you do if you get a shiny other than the pokemon you want. congrats on chikorita, I got a shiny chikorita in heart gold after about 40 sr but I didnt count

I have a question, does this all have to be done the same day? I know the Pokemon only appear on certain days, so I would I only be able to do this for 24 hours for a certain Pokemon? Or is there a way to have it carry over to the next day

I did the same thing and found a male shiny chikorita within 2 resets. However, I accidentally dropped something and my watch scraped the "run" button, and with the smoke ball I accidentally ran away from my favorite shiny pokemon. I'm hunting it again and hopefully I'll get lucky.. ;-;

Stupid question : pokemons findable with the island scan seem to be different with the day, right? If I change the day on my 3DS, would I be able to continue the hunt another day? (sorry for my english ;n; )

Nothing worse than finding an unwanted shiny (grubbin) while full odds hunting a shiny ralts
