He's not talking about how people are being mean to him. He's showcasing antisemitism that stems from this conflict. I don't know how it's so hard to understand that you can equally support the Palestinian people and acknowledge that antisemitism is ramping up. With all my charitability: Even after the leftovers ep. It took this last rant for me to unfollow, which is insane bc ive been watching H3 since their most "problematic" era, he's truly off the rails and this seems like a cry for help.

I think the real issue is both sides keep pointing fingers rather than coming to the conclusion that the hate just needs to come to a stop and the focus needs to be put on the actual conflict rather than having fans and chatters continue to instigate this “beef”. The more people come at Ethan, calling him a Zionist and a fascist, the more he’s gonna defend his position. On the other hand, the more Hasan’s community brings up Ethan, the less choice he’ll have in creating discussion around him. And usually when the topic of Hasan-Ethan beef comes up, there’s usually a bloodbath in the comments. “He’s right!” “No. He’s right!” “Hasan! Are you going to address the Ethan situation?” “Hasan! Will you admit that Ethan is a Zionist pig?”

Ethan wanted to distance himself from the realm of politics due to the fact that left leaning content creators and the online left, in general, was becoming a very toxic environment amidst the Israel-Palestine conflict. And rather than recognize that both sides were initially wrong in their actions on and after October 7th, everybody wanted to, again, point fingers. Was it right that Hamas attacked a music festival full of thousands of innocent civilians? No. But it’s equally as wrong, if not, more so, that the IDF and Israeli government have been relentlessly attacking Palestinians and the Islamic community in this never-ending ethnic cleansing campaign. So when people constantly harass a man and his family for being Jewish, being born in Israel, being the husband of an Israeli native who had no say in whether or not they served in the IDF, and calling them zionists just for existing as someone who didn’t get a say in where they were born, you cannot blame him for getting frustrated at the whole situation and misinterpreting statements that meant no harm. Especially when everyone is labeling him as some kind of murderer by association. This is what causes Ethan to think everyone is out to get him, even his friends when they mention him in this context.

I’m not gonna deny that Ethan has said some problematic stuff about this whole thing. And since then, he has clarified his views on the conflict to his audience. He is not in support of the Israeli government and has said so on multiple occasions. However, he’s also not on the side of Hamas, which despite being the governing body of Gaza, is still considered to be a terrorist organization by the public. They might not be as bad as an Al-Qaeda or ISIS, but they still did what they did and just because they come from a community that’s been marginalized by the state of Israel, it does not give them a pass to do the same thing to Israeli citizens. And while I sympathize more with the Palestinian plight, I still understand this basic moral principle and that’s what Ethan tried to explain at one point, but had no luck in getting the message across in a meaningful way. Regardless, it does not take away the fact that Palestinians have been suffering under the boot of Benjamin Netanyahu and the IDF for longer than we know. With this in mind, people run with one side, no questions asked and the flood gates open to relentless criticism and harassment if you even have a shred of empathy for THE PEOPLE of Israel. So it’s no wonder Ethan wants to stay quiet on the whole thing now. Hila’s whole family lives in Israel and he has no choice but to empathize with them since this issue hits really close to home.

These are people who are just trying to digest this conflict in their own ways. The constant harassment and instigation from both H3 fans and HasanAbi heads does not help the situation. It is turning into less and less of a productive conversation each day. No one is fixing anything when the conversation turns into post-Leftovers debate. This is all because fans and chatters keep perpetuating what is practically a cycle of abuse from both sides and it does absolutely nothing to fix the root cause.

You know when you're arguing with someone and they hear the exact opposite of what you're saying? Like yeah, I'll just let it go because we're not even having the same conversation. Hasan's response is exactly right. Once you're too emotional about a topic, there's no argument to make because you won't listen. And that's okay, but I'm disengaging.

Either way Ethan’s whole argument about antisemitism towards Jews being so horribly bad, he’s operating off the misinformation pumped out by the apartheid defense league (ADL sets the standard for what is considered hate crimes hate speech etc) and presented by the FBI. The fbi is including a whole bunch of junk stats that the ADL skewed hugely by changing the qualifications for what is anti Jewish hate speech (which is considered a hate crime / incident). The ADL said any pro Palestinian speech is anti Jewish, from the river to the sea Palestine will be free is recognized as Jewish hate. While there has been an increase in anti Jewish sentiment, obviously because of lsraeI and Zionists conflating Judaism with Zionism, it is DEFINITELY not some huge huge issue or mainstream or accepted, in the same way islamophobia is.

I just watched an old video of Ethan Klein in Israel making fun of Hasidic Jews and literally calling them “dirty j*ws” but everyone that doesn’t support the settler apartheid state are the real anti-semites.

Also am I the only one that is getting Ethan being on coke vibes. There’s just certain things about his mannerisms, he is bug eyed at points, he keeps coughing and rubbing his nose while sniffling. Or is he always just this fidgety and seemingly manic?
