Proud of ya, Dave! You and the staff! Much love from TX!
ОтветитьThat "thank you" was so sincere it actually brought me to tears
ОтветитьHow can you make a riveting story out of graphs David? It's remarkable. I don't know how you do it, but I am so glad you do.
I'm half way though my first subscription year and love my budding collection. I suspect I'll be a subscriber for life now. The prints are absolutely stunning.
Congratulations on your continued success, but its all down to your's and your staff's hard work and passion.
I would love to buy the tools!
ОтветитьGreat video Dave. The next generation is in safe hands. All these idiots whispering into microphones and call it ASMR. They can’t hold a candle to you. Merry Christmas from your fans in the UK.
ОтветитьYou seem like such a marvelous human being. Thank you for your videos!
ОтветитьFeel so grateful I got to do what must have been one of the very last batch of print-making demo/classes given at the store on 2/12 - and that David himself was there, and took the time to sit and chat with me :) Glad to hear the business is receiving continued support from those who appreciate it around the world. Will cherish the prints I brought home always <3
ОтветитьI was in your shop in early February as a tourist. Now I'm back in the UK, one of the worst affected countries on the planet. This year has been madness. I hope that I can return to Tokyo (for a fourth time) soon.
ОтветитьHELLO
I'm so glad I found this channel. beautiful
Happy to be a Patreon and support such an amazing team and studio
ОтветитьI recently bought a Yoshida print from your shop, and it arrived just in time for Christmas. What an amazing print! I chose the "Sacred Grove" print you showed at the beginning of the video. What a beautiful print! And what a wonderful transaction! So much helpful & print communication from Cameron, and I really appreciate the extra effort to get prints shipped to the USA. Thanks David!
ОтветитьI am definitely interested in the blades and will be excitedly waiting for their release. :)
ОтветитьSo happy things are continuing for you and the team!
ОтветитьKeep it up, da vid!
ОтветитьDiscovered this channel recently and it's been so interesting to watch, as someone interested in the art form and an aspiring business person myself. I have an idea for your business, though I'm sure it will be up to you to decide the feasibility.
I think it would be both an amazing source of revenue and service if your team started some kind of online learning platform. You could start with basic level courses to wet people's interest and continue to grow your following online. There are a number of platforms as a service like Teachable to make the technical aspects easy. Then as the pandemic, God willing, winds down, perhaps you could extend that to onsite apprenticeships/bootcamps. It would be awesome to see your team not only survive and thrive, but lead a worldwide renewal of knowledge of this art form :)
I remember when I first came across David's video about Ito-san. I was pleasantly surprised and enthralled through the whole video. I hope your popularity continues to grow and hope you and your colleagues stay safe.
ОтветитьLove you man! All I ask is for more videos. Stay well and healthy!
ОтветитьSir, please consider making sure that mocohunger is reopened in time for the Olympic Games.
ОтветитьGlad to know he's okay
ОтветитьCame for the ASMR... stayed for the prints
ОтветитьDid not expect to tear up at the end of this video, but here we are. Thank you for being you, and for welcoming us all along for the ride. Stay safe, and blessings in the new year to you and everyone at the shop!
Ответитьi got some bob ross baumgartner restoration kinda vibe here
ОтветитьI want that blue lake lady print i have no idea why i like it so much.
ОтветитьDave you’re amazing, I love the transparency. Particularly in regards to the price catering to working people like yourselves. I’ll continue my subscription, thank you for everything you do!
ОтветитьYou exude kindness! I could listen to you talk all day. I have been fascinated with Japanese woodblock prints since my childhood and I have just a few, vintage, picked up from various thrift stores and yard sales over the years. I have never heard of your shop, and just randomly came across this video, but I am so excited and would love to become a subscriber. Your comments at the end had me in tears. What a gift you have and are. Continue to stay safe!
ОтветитьI am a farmer in the Philippines and was thoroughly enriched by your discussion about how a good business should always be prepared for a disruption. An earthquake of whatever shape and form. Thank you very much,
ОтветитьI am so happy to see your business continue in the shadow of such a world wide tragedy. It was our family's intention to visit Japan and your shop this coming March. The pandemic, however, has made that impossible this year. I do however expect to reschedule for next year and hope you continue to find stability and growth! Much luck to you and hope to visit you soon!
ОтветитьThank you so much for providing so much inspiration.
ОтветитьHow do the prints arrive? They look so amazing. Do they arrive on wood blocks? Just the paper? Curious to know :)! Thanks!
Ответитьyou feel like the modern day bob ross a true passionate artist making people happy.
ОтветитьAnyone NOT trust this man? Haha. Long live hippies 👏🏻💕
ОтветитьI'm so glad to hear that the shop has weathered the pandemic well. As for 8 Views of Cats--are submissions still open for all views besides Evening Snow, Night Rain, and Evening Bell? Or have you already chosen designs for all 8?
ОтветитьWhat an honest and humble man.
ОтветитьI watch this channel almost every day, initially because of the relaxing background noise but now I am so genuinely interested and excited to watch more
ОтветитьCan you do A virtual tour of your neighborhood and studio?
ОтветитьGreat news! Thank you for sharing the good news!
ОтветитьLate to this update, but what great news
ОтветитьThis man allows me to relax and sleep no matter what
ОтветитьLooking forward to this set because I absolutely love everything you guys do but I’m not that well versed on anime or video games so this series is super interesting
ОтветитьWilliam Zacha would have liked this video possibly
ОтветитьThank you, David! Your videos, your work, your shop, your studio give me such pleasure!!
ОтветитьDave-San has so much passion. It’s a shame more people don’t share that quality
ОтветитьI may have the original of 'Winter'?
ОтветитьThat popular video is now up to nearly 4 million views! Holy smokes
ОтветитьHis business strategy was honesty genius
ОтветитьStop talking and show something
ОтветитьA better analogy would be a TRIcycle rather than a tripod... . Take one wheel from a TRIcycle and it becomes a BIcycle. You're still able to get where u need to be. JS
