think the smallest camera is the future ..the popularity of A7 mark iii or IV will be loosing in the race vs a7c.. because the technology will be the same get what a7iv has unless the organomics.. .but in normal photographer or content creator it doesn't matter. .. unless the camera is new great latest and AF the quality we all good on That😊

May I kindly ask for your advise please,

I would like to start posting photos of my flying trips, from the flight deck, to outside the aircraft as well as around the airport and landscapes from the different regions I visits. A cellphone camera I feel is too limiting and a full DSLR is too big, also I want to start a blog and post photos and then sell copies of the photos. So quality is important and size for prints.

I realize this is a steep order and request.

What type of compact / travel camera would you recommend?
Between canon and say Fuji?

Then potentially only one lens as my first priority is the responsibility of the crew, passengers, the aircraft and safety of the environment so I don’t want to changes lenses etc.
18-55? Might be bulky…

The lack of the the 6400 is that the kitlens doesnt have a screwwire inside

For anyone having issues with micro HDMI and feeling like it's too fickle or likely to disconnect: I switched to using 90 degree micro hdmi cables/adapters for field monitoring and I've never encountered an issue again. The 90 degree adapter gets out of the way of you flip screen much better than a traditional cable, and the angle provides a sturdier connection because there is less potential for it to be tugged straight outward buy the cable since the force would be perpendicular to the port. Hope that helps.

Great camera for sure, but as full frame cameras with bang-per-buck go I think Lumix currently own's the moniker of best. Granted I have my biases (as do we all) but spec wise I think the S5II/S5IIX deliver more at a lower cost. Active cooling, full sized HDMI, dual memory card slots etc If we move outside of full frame I also think the X-H2S is a much stronger choice too. I've not been been mightly impressed with Sonys last 4 releases tbh. I think they are a little overated. Still great, but not the typical Sony standard.
