Style: Red/Green Dot | Pattern Name: Dot Sight
ОтветитьIt did its purpose no complains..
ОтветитьWhy the 15? I wish he explained the logic or philosophy behind choosing that zero. Is it just more practical for home defense?
ОтветитьLol don't unload gun unless your at a ipsic tournament lol shit will get you killed on streets or in the woods
ОтветитьIt all depends on your home yard an area u protect they say all self-defense situations are in a 15 yards or less but what distance is your longest run in your home or property with in reason. Be safe it's a different world
ОтветитьI put a lazer on it lol, red dot on your body, red sauce out!
ОтветитьThe Sig Sauer training video is poorly done. Why present information on zeroing a red dot unless you're invested in teaching someone how to do it? The trainer not only rushed through the information but also spoke so quickly that it was difficult to understand the instructions.
ОтветитьI am a little confused here, please correct me if I am wrong, I am a noob. It is hard to defend a self defense case at 50, and 25 yards specially in home defense. Why would I not zero for 5, 7, or 10 yards given that most homes tend to be 10 yards or less at its longer side. I would think most shooting during a home invasionI think occur at 3 to 5 yards.
ОтветитьHave new glock. Don’t understand lango? “Back on” at ?
ОтветитьI think it's a little BS that sig doesn't zero the red dots sold on their pistols. After spending 2200 dollars it should be ready to go 🤷🏽
ОтветитьFor EDC 10-15 yards is adequate. For every application, there are adjustments. My p320 x compact I shot at 15 yards and adjusted the Romeo 1pro to my point of impact. Also don’t “slave” your dot to your irons, it defeats the purpose.
ОтветитьGLOCK is so rugged. The Sig has just for some reason Exuberant a sense of professionalism.
ОтветитьWhat does back on at 35 mean?
ОтветитьWhat does on a 15 and back on at 35 mean?
Ответитьok, I'm confused. Is this 15 Yard Zero for competition shooting? I use mine for self defense which would typically be from 3 to 7 yards from my understanding. So for a self defense situation, Wouldn't a 10 yard zero make more sense? Just asking because this is my first pistol optic and I don't have a clue. Just thinking in a logical manor. Sig P320 AXG Equinox with a Romeo 1 Pro 3MOA. Thanks in advance.
ОтветитьHow to zero a red dot: Have your pistol red dot already zeroed, and do nothing. Wow, this video has to be a joke, right?
ОтветитьI personally go with a 25yd zero because simple geometry tells us that the longer the sight in distance chosen, the more gradual the downward sight axis will be, and the less dispersion will result so say you zero for 25yd then move up to 12 shoot then up to 5 then shoot the vertical spread will be like 2 inches and if you say zero at 12yd vertical spread goes to about 4 inches and zeroing at 5yd if then shoot at a target at 12yd you'll be about 5 inches high and about 8inches high at 25. With everything I've researched and shot a 25yd is the best all around pistol zero
ОтветитьWaste of time. This was an ammo promo.
ОтветитьThis seems more like advertisement for your ammo rather than justifying the zero.
ОтветитьYea, and at any other range it’s either lower or higher. Now you just have to figure those out and remember all the offsets.
ОтветитьSo Sage recommends a 25 y zero, Jedi a 10 y zero and Sig a 15 y zero. My personal preference after tens of rounds fired is 12y 1 foot 8 inches hereafter to be known as the Clark Zero. (Copyright applied for)
ОтветитьClick bait and a fudd 🤢🤮
ОтветитьWhat happens if you don’t hit overlapping shots in the bullseye after one try? Lol
Ответить2021 update... when making safe be sure to pick up you round and clean off the dirt for reuse! Can’t afford to be leaving 60 cent bullets all over the range.
ОтветитьHey if you didnt pick up that extra round ill take it.
ОтветитьThanks, Peter Griffin
ОтветитьWhy 15 yards as opposed to 25?
ОтветитьOk so that wasn’t a “zero video”
ОтветитьI boresighted the pistol at 15 yards and it was dead on when I did a 3 shot group from a rest. Pretty good for a $15 device from gander.
ОтветитьOK, so let me see if I have this right, or at least close to it. If 1 MOA is approximately 1 inch at 100 yards and I zero my red dot at 15 yards, then 1 MOA is about 5/32nds of an inch (3.97 mm) at 15 yards. Not that I can shoot groups that small (smaller then the diameter of my 9mm bullet) I just want to be sure that I have the concept correct.
ОтветитьWhat type of bullshit was this? How the hell did you zero it?? I thought that was what this video was. No wonder you disabled the ratings. And to think, I just spent so much money on a Sig M18 and Romeo pro optic....garbage
ОтветитьDo you co-witness the red dot with your sights ?
ОтветитьI thought he was going to teach something. It would have been nice to see how to adjust the sight. Thanks
ОтветитьSo where’s the bullet hit at 20 yards
ОтветитьWhen I use a red dot sight on any center fire pistol, I find that oil and other byproducts of “combustion” coat the glass (heavily) in less than a dozen rounds. To the point of not being able to see the target clearly. I’ve had this happen several times, on several different pistols. It is generally considered a good thing to run Sig pistols “wet”. Making the situation worse, earlier.
That may be fine in a real life SD situation, since in most such scenarios, the round count doesn’t go much higher. But in a class, or training in general, red dot sights are un usable for me. The exception is on a rim fire pistol. Almost all of them discharge the oil and other debris, to the side of the pistol, only. Fine for any glass mounted on top.
Am I the only one to find this to be true? Just say no, to glass on top of center fire pistols.
On at 15 and on at 30 yards. No clue what that means
ОтветитьSorry Sig, but I have to unsubscribe. I put down almost $400 for a p226 and during the background check waiting period was notified that I'm prohibited from owning firearms for life. My almost $400 was nonrefundable😟 It would've been my first gun😲
ОтветитьMay I offer that a 10 yard zero shooting at 1-inch circle will translate better at most distances than a 15 yard "zero" at a 1.695 circle. Just food for thought.
ОтветитьLuv sig
