This song comes from the Betsileo region, but currently, it is widespread throughout Madagascar.
It follows that there are many local versions, both for the text and for the melody. For example, in the 1974 album "Chants du Peuple Mihira Ny Vahoaka Malagasy" [33RPM, Face B, Track 4], his voice and voice are retained in the folklore soundtrack, but he talks about the events of May 13, 1972, in Madagascar.
