Elder Scrolls 6 Huge New Details...

Will Bethesda pull off the impossible with Elder Scrolls 6? When do you think it will release?

In my opinion, I think procedural generation with the help of a.i. can produce something as authentic as hand crafted environments before the end of the decade

I really want it to be a deep RPG. I hope they don't focus on size but rather character choices and fleshed out interactions with NPC's. I want a living, breathing world that I can really interact with.

I just hope there is life to the game compared to Starfield. We want each dungeon to be different. Each quest to have it’s own lore and consequences. The old way of doing things is no longer good enough anymore because games have improved so much over the years, that it made Starfield look severely outdated. I hope they learn from the criticism fans are giving them and improve on it throughout their future games.

I think it would be cool if your factions could help you in the main quest. Not just taking a single follower, like Lydia, to fight a boss, but rather taking the Companions or the trainers from the College of Winterhold to fight Miraak or Alduin

I think it’s going to be nowhere near as good as people are wanting it to be. Bethesda is the typical top name brand with low grade products these days.

Funny that you used Skyrim as an example of a game that has a procedurally generated open world. Skyrim's open world had procedural generation. It wasn't "entirely handcrafted"

I’m not even going to buy es6. I’m more hyped for the free Quest mods like Glenmoril, Apotheosis, Beyond project etc.

Hope they put building mechanics similar to fallout 4

They need to move towards ROLE PLAYING like allowing you to seamlessly create any playstyle and character you want…and ignore the outdated “rpg” videogame tropes like hp numbers jumping out of enemies and finding 50 weapons that are identical but all have different stats. ES6 needs to be truly immersive and compelling.

I've put thousands of hours into Skyrim, Oblivion and Morrowind. Considering how Starfield turned out, this game will be trash.

Here's the thing. At the VERY least, TES6 has something that Starfield won't, even before development starts. Starfield showed the weakness of modern Bethesda, which is by far and large (at least imho) their weakness in creative and engaging writing to hold the player's attention. Starfield suffering from modern Bethesda's lack of writing skill was glaringly obvious, and unlike TES or Fallout, didn't have an entire franchise and history to fall back on to flesh out the world. Bethesda, known for world building, failed at building a compelling world with Starfield. TES 6 at the very least can fall back on what came before, so that players are engaged in that familiar world and history of Tamriel. Now I'm not saying that's enough to make a new game, far from it, but at the very least it starts TES 6 off WITHOUT a handicap, the massive handicap that Starfield had.

They need to make it with multiple beginnings designed around different character types and play styles. The diversity of weapons is a must. Spell making, combat combination moves, climbing, repelling, hang gliding, digging, some destructible environments, fire can burn down stuff, etc etc. So many possibilities.

It's a shame you never mention the boss of rpg of the 20s. Oblivion.

Hammerfell, High Rock and i think expansions to summerset isle, cyrodiil and maybe skyrim.

They're gonna ruin it again... for the modders to fix it.

Taking 15 years to release the next game in the series is trash.

They should've swapped the release order of Starfield and ES6. People will play ES6 on repeat for a decade while Starfield will only get a few play throughs in that time frame.

I hope they go back to the desire to impress gamers and make Elder scrolls 6 better than Skyrim. Bring back what worked in the past with improvements. Fallout 76 is better but still not as good as fallout 4 or 3. It needs much more stories and quests.

I am very anxious regarding the Elderscrolls 6... on one side Bethesda can create sth that would bring tham back to the top of gaming. Createing a living world where choice matters and affects whats happening is Key... I have played starfield but I never fell in love with it. quite the contrary actually. So I hope they learn from their mistakes and give us the Elderscrolls game we all deserve XD

If TES6 is going to take place in Hammerfell, then I really hope we're going to be able to encounter and fight dunerippers and giant scorpions. And I hope they make it easy to switch between different weapons, with hot-keys.

I also kinda hope some other game developer buys the right to the elder scrolls. I ADORE TES lore, but I don't much care for Bethesda TBH...

Bethesda needs more voice actors. A lot of the same voices are heard through essential characters and the guards but they at least understandable.

Played Skyrim through recently and the cracks really start to show all these years later. I let quite a lot slide back in 2011, the writing especially.
