i will forever be in awe by the universe, and that being reminded how everything on earth is a subsidiary event connected to events in depths of space and time, that one day we’d all be dust and memories.

What is the most astounding power we possess?

"Amor Fati"

We are born of Stardust traced back to the ancient birth of our vibrant cosmos, we are the universe made sentient.
Our lives are born of a sophisticated chain of events leading all the way back to the first seed sown into the Earth, the first river banks settled, every war waged for liberty and oppression alike, every tragic market crash and even the triumphant steps we have taken to worlds beyond our own.

Any and every moment we live and every space we breathe in, however momentous or mundane, is the cosmic expression of life, a grand dance that is the culmination of everything that has come before.

As you read this paragraph, you may very well be feeling triumphant or joyous on the back of, perhaps, closing a successful deal or the birth of your beautiful daughter. Perhaps, you feel morose, heartbroken on the back of a love that has forsaken your bond. Maybe you are melancholic, longing for days past when everything seemed right with the world. Or perhaps, your heart is brimming with hope and electricity.

Good.

Remember this moment. And love it, however great or pathetic it may be.
Do not rationalise. Do not lose your power.

We all feel small in the expanse of this wide world and in the laps of a much bigger cosmos.
Collectively though, blessed are we mortal creatures for our lives are sacred havens of all things wondrous, our lives are fields where we gallop to vistas, bright and bleak alike. And it very well could be that no one else feels the way you do tonight/today. Furthermore, no one has the unique potential to alter your fate as you can either.

Love thy fate just for this one moment. Its okay. Whatever you feel, is the very universe living and breathing through your very body and soul.

Neil DeGrasse Tyson's most astounding fact is that the atoms that make up our bodies were created in the cores of stars that went supernova. This is a profound and awe-inspiring fact that reminds us of our connection to the universe. We are literally made of stardust.

This fact can also be seen as a source of hope. It reminds us that we are part of something much larger than ourselves. We are not alone in the universe. There are billions of stars and planets out there, and there is no reason to believe that we are the only ones that harbor life.

The most astounding fact is a reminder that we are all connected. We are all made of the same stuff, and we all share this one planet. We need to work together to protect our home and to ensure that future generations can enjoy the same beauty and wonder that we do.

Here are some additional thoughts on the most astounding fact:

• It is a reminder of the vastness of the universe and our place in it.

• It is a source of hope and inspiration.

• It reminds us of our connection to each other and to the planet.

• It is a call to action to protect our home and to ensure a sustainable future.

Think about the majesty of subatomic particles. Learning about them is incredible. Do you look at electrons and think "oh wow how insignificant"? I don't. I think wow, this is what my matter is made up of. This is the fabric of me. The same way you make up the fabric of the universe.

the first time I heard this I was at summer camp and we were doing devotion, and that night I was so tired I could barely stay awake, but I listened. I listened to the way he presented his knowledge and in that moment when it ended I knew that everyone I heard it again and again, it would have the same effect on me because of how life changing that really was to me. The fact that I almost dozed off that night , but didn’t before I heard what he had to say, just shows that god wanted me to heard that message and that that was his message to me. thank you for reading ❤

It seems as if I am not the only one, but this very video, in 2012/2013, inspired me to get a degree in physics, which I did. After my graduation ceremony in 2017, I sat down with friends at a nearby Starbucks, and this song came on, which I hadn't heard anywhere else since I first saw this video. It took my breath away.

According to Joseph Campbell, in Myths to Live By, "The second function
of a living mythology is to offer an image of the universe that will be in
accord with the knowledge of the time, the sciences and the fields of action
of the folk to whom the mythology is addressed." This world-view proves people are still interested in Myths to Live By....

My dad passed away in December 2023. He was creamated. So we just rearranged this atoms, and then we are gonna push his ashes at the base of a tree, which will just reintroduce him into this vast universe.
There really is something comforting about all of this to me.

We are no different from one another. We have allowed our ideals to divide us and say we are different. But you came from those stars just as I did. We are one and the same. One day, I hope we can realize that and come together as one across this planet and finally move forward and maybe…just maybe…reach for those stars
