I like that it's a lighter shade than Hermit Purple

I honestly think this is barely even Johnathan's stand at its strongest. Dio doesn't know Hamon. And like Hermit Purple, Johnathan's stand is probably the manifestation of his Hamon too. So Dio is nowhere near capable of using it to its fullest potential. Johnathan could have also gotten much better at Hamon. He was a bit of a prodigy. So if he were to live and keep training, his stand may have eventually appeared on its own. Without the need of a stand arrow. And with his training, he could have refined it into something better.

It's funny to think this is Jonathan's stand even though when Jonathan was alive there were no cameras or TVs

Jonathan does not need to destroy camera because of his kind nature but Joseph need to because of his hot headed nature is what i feel

This proves that Jonathan's soul is still alive in DIO's body since stands are a representation of their user's soul. I think Jonathan is actually trying to help his descendants, by giving them clues and showing them where DIO is. In the end, after destroying Jonathan's body, the remaining Crusaders decided to let it dissolve in the sunlight so DIO wouldn't revive again, and also to set Jonathan's soul free after years of being trapped.

I have a theory as to why Dio’s Hermit Purple doesnt destroy the camera.

Obviously yeah the cameras just sturdier, but maybe its cause when we hear Joseph’s Hermit Purple we hear the ring of Hamon, but not with DIO’s. So maybe Joseph’s Hamon infused Hermit Purple is destroying the camera, while DIO just has to gently strike it with the vines.
