I have a 2015 i like to see a 2015 tested
ОтветитьI didn't think this was real until I looked it up. It looks like a cursed image😂
ОтветитьUncle had one new. Told me I was likely to never see another one in the states. He was right.
UPDATE 4/9/22 thought he sold it long ago, last saw it in 2013. Just saw it yesterday, turns out he still owns it!
Looking at old videos of the Sportback. Only real gripe I have with mine is engine and road noise. If Mitsubishi had made some attempt at sound deadening (which I believe there is none) it would have made a world of difference. Other than the racket its a pretty solid, nice looking car.
ОтветитьCar bashing this one, not a review
ОтветитьThese guy’s were being very generous with the score. I got the same car but Saloon version and I give it a 5/10 they are spot with the CVT, loud and slow...get a manual!!!
ОтветитьDoes anyone have the 1.5 litre I've been wondering what it's like on fuel?
ОтветитьReally like this car, but the fuel economy is atrociously bad compared to the competition. I don't understand why so bad. The biggest problem though is that they don't offer it in the US any longer!
ОтветитьWhat would be neat, the US and UK using KW, nM as well as litres per 100 kilomtres. ☺
ОтветитьThis car is so much better looking than the Civic hatchback. What is wrong with Honda's designers?
ОтветитьPretty sure Mitsubishi won't be around too much longer. I have a 2016 Lancer and nothing has changed interior wise from previous years. Holding on by a thread in North America.
ОтветитьWhat a pathetic review, it's a GT... Yet no mention of handling, acceleration, top speed... Nothing at all that would be relevant to someone who would go for the GT over a standard Lancer. Stick to testing bicycles....
Ответитьthats why i want a Subaru they look way better
ОтветитьRalliart is the little brother, this thing is a distant cousin.
ОтветитьIt has the same mileage as a cherokee 4x4
ОтветитьI have the same in The Netherlands! It had a 1.8Mivec 145ph 5 speedmanual gearbox! And I really do like it!
ОтветитьDave seems to review a lot of mitsubishis, yet he almost always doesn't really like them... :P
ОтветитьThis lancer has 2.4L engine 168hp Hyundai Elantra 2.0L engine 174hp lancer has weak engine
ОтветитьNot to be nit picky but the EVO's little brother is the ralliart, not this economy version. Thats just kinda misleading and an auto reviewer should be well aware of that
ОтветитьThis is one of my dream cars, such a nice beautiful car, considering many modern cars are quite boring... but thats just taste. Great review
ОтветитьThese guys are biased. The lancer is awesome. I don't know what the hell they're talking about. Only gripe I have is the simplistic display if you don't get the widescreen lcd display.
ОтветитьThe trunk space in the lancer sportback is surprise surprise, superman.
ОтветитьLancer is def. cheaper right now. I saw one truecar for the NYC area that is $3000 off msrp. The 2013 version right now has a $2000 factory rebate going on. I don't think Mazda has a rebate though... they never tend to do that.
ОтветитьCan't decide between a Lancer and a Mazda 3 :( Your reviews are great, have already seen the one about the 2013 Mazda 3. Keep it up guys! Subscribed.
ОтветитьMitsubishi used to be an exciting car. What happen?
ОтветитьGreat review, Alex & Dave. I agree with the "almost" description. I really wish they brought back the Ralliart SportBack. The interior is so cheap in this car. Looks cool frm the outside.
ОтветитьTo the contrary, I think that both Alex and Dave explained the positives and negatives that contributed to their ratings. If only the positives were mentioned, it would be an ad and not a review.
ОтветитьI'm not impressed with this review because it's all bashing the Sportback GT, all the negativity is present with rarely any positives. I personally own a 2013 Sportback GT Touring Edition and I love the hell out of it. Try focusing more on the positives of the vehicle first before bashing it.
Ответить"Here you go again" - it is not only a quote from fmr president Reagan but also a reminder for your double standards. Alex, here in this clip @5:03 you criticize the fake ignition key of the Lancer but only few days after this video in your test of the Mazda CX-9 (shown there @2:46 as you start the car) the same fake ignition key is just fine (must have been, since it was not criticized ). You may say it is a nitpicking but I see a pattern here. Your conclusions may be true but it feels biased.
Ответитьthe intererior has that long samurai sword from door to door.
Ответитьthey got to put more horsepower in the base models, the ES.
ОтветитьIt's actually the same action figure. I'm a Superman fan and it's just for fun - Dave
ОтветитьToo boring. I hope Mitsubishi would return to creating exciting cars again. The EVO is great, but apart from that their offerings just seem average and boring. They seemed more interesting to me in the 80s and 90s.
ОтветитьThe back end looks slightly too elongated, but otherwise looks nice.
ОтветитьHey guys, great review. Just wanted to point out that there is a reason for that "cap" for starting the car. The key remote has a back up (manual over-ride) key built into the bottom. If for whatever reason something happens, and you need to start the car with the manual key.., that cap will pull off and out, giving you the ability to start the car with the physical key.
ОтветитьAre you serious? The new mirage and the new outlander are class leading mpg. stop trolling cars you could never afford
ОтветитьShould have tested a stick
ОтветитьThe CVT kills it. That fuel economy isn't that much more than my truck.
ОтветитьSlow,ugly,overpriced.
Ответитьalmost a subaru; minus the awd. so maybe not even close to a subaru.
ОтветитьFor $27,800 you can get a VW GTI, MazdaSpeed3, or Focus ST.
Ответить27,800 is horrible... thats not fair. it should be at 21k.
Ответитьholy crap that lancer is one ugly car.
Ответитьdo a toyota yaris review please. i live in Baltimore and i am considering buying one for the long traffic jams on 695.
ОтветитьI really appreciate the acceleration run in this video! I think that was the one thing that your videos in the past were missing was a bit of spirited driving!! Thanks for that :)
ОтветитьYour reviews where always good, but it seems like you guys are really finding your stride now - editing, pacing, information is more dialed. This was a great review.
ОтветитьLooks like the old outback sport
ОтветитьNew Mirage will have 40 MPG, Mitsubishi says.
ОтветитьMitsubishi, as far as I know, is still staying in the U.S. market, as they recently showed off the all-new Mirage here in North America.
ОтветитьLoved the review guys, keep them coming. I agree with Dave on the score, at $27,840 this car is too expensive for what it offers. I feel like Mitsubishi needs to merge with someone if they want to survive here in the U.S. so far they've dropped the Eclipse and the Galant, their sales are at the lowest they ever been and Consumer Reports rate them poor for reliability and resale value. I just don't see how they could stay afloat for another year.
