Can't help but wonder why certain footage was used. Pics of the Red Army are repeatedly followed by the terracotta army of Qin Shi Huang but nothing is ever shown of Nationalist troops.
I think in the case of foreign aid, many supplies given to both Communist and Nationalist sides were stockpiled for a continuation of hostilities after the war.
China did suffer greatly and did participate in the fight but I think this video has a bit of a pro-party slant. That being said, China was an important part of this war and her contribution is often overlooked.
