You should use a clear coat over the pots, otherwise the paint will eventually chip and fade

These turned out so sweet! I have an aged/whitewashed terracotta planter but over the years the whitewash coat it came with has chipped off. I can't wait to try this and restore the look!

Stunning! Love the look of these. They look like they've been sitting in a lovely English garden for outside of a French chateau.

They were fine before you painted and put stuff on them. I would have bought the trays for under the pots, unless you’re leaving them outside.
