Magicband is fun but it's a luxury, it's not necessary. And you don't need to have your entire party wear lanyards holding their park ticket, one person can have everyone's ticket on their mobile device, and tap everyone in using Magic mobile.

what kind of Mickey ears are those with the hood?

We have MB's that are about 5 years old and going back in November 2023. I'm hoping they still work. They are still marked as ACTIVE on the My Disney App so fingers crossed their batteries are still good. Not cool that Disney is now charging $ for basic MB's especially since we are staying at a Deluxe resort (Beach Club). If you're paying Deluxe resort prices these things should be complimentary.

Love your channel and thank you for all your help! I have a question in regards to magic bands, maybe you know the answer. We used our magic bands from 2019 on our trip a couple weeks ago. We didn't get any of our ride photos to show up. After some research I think our batteries may be dead on those bands for the long range sensors. The bands worked for everything else including Genie+. Do you think that's maybe what happened? I'm thinking I may need to buy a magic band+ to make sure our photos show up on the next trip. Luckily, Disney was able to find most of our photos but I don't want to have them search for them for every visit. Thank you!!!

Do you have to put a fingerprint on all the rides? And where can I get a majic band if I will stay at another hotel?

Oh wow! I'm learning SOOOO much from you! I had no idea those park cards were reusable and linkable. Found my old ones in my phone app just as u described. Can you do the bounty hunter search activity with the park card too?

Finding out that we can reuse our old park tickets and Key to the World cards is bringing so much relief. I'm planning my family's Disney World trip, and they're not as tech-savvy as I am, so the park tickets are going to make things so much easier.

I only got a Magic Band Plus because you can’t link a regular Magic Band to the Disneyland app and I enjoy the convenience of a magic band, especially since you can charge purchases to your room via magic band

So my understanding is it magic band plus interactive stuff only works if you have a cell phone? My 8 year old would love the bounty hunter at HS but doesn't have a phone. Can anyone confirm how this works? Can more than one band be connected to a phone? Leaving in August and would love to understand this before I purchase! Thanks

A question do resort guest only get the world of magic (hotel/park tickets) or if we want that extra cute “freebie” for scrapbooking after our trip that we can get a park only ticket at guest relation as well?

Family staying in Disney resort and we did a package so there wasn’t an option about getting a physical ticket for each of us. Glad our hotel will be giving each of us a hotel room/ticket all in one (great to kick for memory)

Can you do the interactive things like statues and bounty hunting with the Apple Watch or is that exclusive to the magicband+?

Just got home from Disney. Never utilized the + feature on our plus bands.

So when the 50th statues go away (which they presumably will now that the celebration is over), am I right in thinking that the only pro of the Plus version is the Batuu game? Which I can imagine even a child getting bored of after a round or two… I certainly wouldn’t want to be staring at my wrist during the fireworks so that’s a con in my mind! Do they still sell the normal MagicBands?

Do you need one? No. Do I want one? Absolutely! Keep in mind these bands are purposely designed to pop off and then be replaced for another $45. If you do get one, I highly recommend get some tape to secure the straps together.

I’m trying the mobile option. I was following up until setting up the express mode in the watch settings. I can see my Disney cards listed with the rest of my cards. But it won’t allow me to tap on it. Any idea what I’m doing wrong?

Going to reuse old magic bands from our last trip. Not sure what to do for the one family member that doesn’t have one. The new ones don’t seem like they’re worth the money, hoping to find an old version at the hotel

You don’t need to physically touch your Apple Watch to the touch points. The damages the screen. Just hover over the touch point and it works.

Not magic band related but if I have just the 1 theme park pass (not hopper) can I leave the park and come back? For example, just return for the fireworks show at Epcot and/or Magic Kingdom?

Thanks for the useful tips! We plan to use either our room key or ticket cards when we are there and keep them on lanyards we already had from a past trip. Also a tip I've heard is to write everyones name on the cards in case they get mixed up. I do miss the days of the free magic bands in the mail but for us we didn't feel it was a necessary expense and our old ones no longer work.

I have a question. If you have your tickets set up on magic mobile, can you use your plastic park ticket and phone, or does it have to be one or the other?
