I didn´t know much about the barock Mendelssohn before this.
ОтветитьAwesome performance, thanks
ОтветитьWe are playing this in class, I’m here to take notes for myself on cello (no pun intended)
ОтветитьThe front Violinist with the gold around her waist is affectious! Fully alive and soaring free.
ОтветитьWonderful... ThankYou...
ОтветитьI can't make a legitimate comment. Thank you all.. mostly the violinist stage right...and a couple more of you. Thank you 😊
ОтветитьWritten when JLFMB was only 16 years old! An astonishing mind!!! 👏👏👏😱😱😱
ОтветитьSpannend stuk dat met inzet en enthousiasme wordt gespeeld.
ОтветитьWow, the communication and pure joy is infectious. What a wonderful performance.
ОтветитьWonderful Orchestra 🤍
ОтветитьNicely done. But I don't know why string orchestras refuse to add another stand of violas when performing Mendelssohn's string symphonies. They are all scored for two sections of violas, just as they are scored for two sections of violins. Typically, four violas playing the same part works well supporting first and second violin sections of 5 or 6 each. But this configuration leaves only two violas on each part for the Mendelssohn string symphonies, and they cannot compete with or properly support violin sections of the typical size: 3 players on each viola part are needed. Mendelssohn, a violist himself, understood how to employ the instrument to great effect, and when the viola parts go unheard, these symphonies really lose some of his most subtle and cleverest orchestrations.
ОтветитьSuch a fine performance;sensitivity and energy;I love your interpretation.
ОтветитьAmazing! Thank you!
ОтветитьI was about to ask why no one was social distancing when I saw when this was filmed before shit hit the fan
