"annual ritual" Well this was my first experience with "Sobe Bombs". I had a ton of REAL fireworks but we figured it was kind of stupid to show all the cops in the desert where we were by sending up what amounts to giant signal flares LOL... At least these things stay on the ground.

Nothing better than blowing shit up.

"What did you do to make that happen?" I did nothing. It is a concoction that a friend of mine set up... I just photographed it.

It's a glass fruit drink bottle with a small hole punched in the top of the cap. Filled 3/4 with gasoline and then placed on a hot bed of coals with fire surrounding it high enough to ignite the fumes boiling out of the top. It is HIGHLY dangerous and should only be performed by professional drunks...

When I was a kid, we used to do this out in the desert when we’d go ride the atvs.

My uncles friend once put some of his fuel into the bottle which for whatever reason yielded a bigger reaction.

It went went off and shot burning firewood all around for about a 20ft radius. We all ducked instantly .

There were burn marks all over our stuff.
