Not a fan of natos in general and when the strap makes the watch sit super high like this it just looks wierd. Preventing the watch to become one with the wrist.
ОтветитьI like this watch, although they're not giving us thermally blued hands and I've seen better painted hands on AliExpress watches. But I don't want to be be too hard on this watch. When Seiko do sapphire crystals they're really beautiful.
ОтветитьThe first watch is a beauty. But it has so many beautiful classic elements and vibes it just has to be a bit smaller, in my opinion.
The strap is horrendous on this watch.
The NATO strap is a disaster. The watch sits a mile high over the wrist, pin buckle is totally off center and that loop protruding to the side makes it impossible to wear with any sort of long sleeves.
ОтветитьStunner of a watch. Double pass leather? Not sure about that. But a brilliant watch nonetheless. Thanks for the great review.
ОтветитьA seriously cool watch, but what were they thinking about that strap? Knowing Seiko, they had a boxful of the benighted things sat in a warehouse for 10 years and that they wanted somehow to foist upon a gullible public. Pay good money for 'limited edition' watch and immediately swap out strap. This punter says no thanks.
ОтветитьNext stop: CNS d0t c0m for a more appropriate strap, something in nylon... maybe a Marine Nationale. Or an Uncle brand metal brac. That thing looks like a doorknob on the wearer's wrist with that leather double pass 🙄🤷🏼 Serious question to Seiko about that decision: WHY?!? Just because you can doesn't mean you should. 😣🤭
ОтветитьSeiko advertises this as hardlex, are you sure it’s sapphire?
ОтветитьNo lume on the gmt hand?!? 😢
ОтветитьLimited edition or not that is a big deal that Seiko has used sapphire in a watch. Cheers.😊
ОтветитьForget these you want the JDM Seiko Alpinist GMT with the green sunburst dial, gorgeous.
ОтветитьNope, does nothing for me.
ОтветитьI can't wait to see the next video since I believe that will be my future watch.
ОтветитьNice dial. I thimk im just over seiko at this point though. They've priced themselves into a market in which they can't, or won't, compete.
Ответитьthe double pass strap needs to go. otherwise it's nice.
ОтветитьHallelujah! Sapphire. There is hope for us all.
ОтветитьThat sits so high lol. Seiko can't really deliver it with that strap?
ОтветитьWhat kind of lume is this ? SuperLuminova C3 for example? Does it stay lit all night? Cheers
ОтветитьIt shouldn’t be in the Presage line. That watch embodies the sport watches of the 1960s. It IS dressy…but it’s DNA is that of a sports watch.
ОтветитьLooks really nice but the accuracy of +45 to -35 secs a day is worrying. Presuming its the 4R34 movement, Thoughts ? My trusty NH35 runs less than 10 secs a day.
ОтветитьThanks for another great video. Really like the second watch even while I don't need GMT
ОтветитьGorgeous watch man 😍
ОтветитьWay past time for Seiko to upgrade all of their movements. The accuracy degree of error is ridiculous and they don't come dialed in/regulated. Their bracelets are also generally a let down. Great dials....but...
ОтветитьVery good looking except the strap I just didn’t like it
ОтветитьI need some help from an expert. I am searching for a special Seiko modell.... It has a blue dial with 2 different finishes like the Tissot Ballade
Anyone a clue which modell that can be?
The dial on these are to busy imo. Shame, if they had stripped away one or two of the elements it would have been ace.
ОтветитьYes
ОтветитьThose nato straps are hideous. Nice watch, but throw that strap in the trash.
ОтветитьI absolutely love it! It's really a stunner!
However, I hate this strap. It's a shame, but you still can change it.
Thanks for sharing, Gary.
nice model
ОтветитьVery Nice 👍
ОтветитьSuper, I will buy 5 of it.
Ответить4R movement in a Presage?!? That's a $40 movement.
ОтветитьVery nice, I’m a fan of the dial. Can’t help but think though how it’s crazy how so much has changed in such a short time with seiko. When I first got into watches around 2014 or 15 the retail for a jdm seiko with a 6R movement and sapphire crystal was around $350, now the models with mineral crystal and 4R movements cost over $600.
Ответить....sh*tters ,,,
ОтветитьSeiko website says Hardlex
ОтветитьSorry ... a little small.
ОтветитьNope this ain’t the one smh
ОтветитьLooks like a grand seiko
ОтветитьI love GMTs, I have a SSK001 and this might be my second seiko.
ОтветитьThe Marloe GMT is a much better looking watch than that
ОтветитьLovely looking watch with smashing features
ОтветитьI thought is was the HONDA SUPER CUB....oh well
ОтветитьJust awful. That strap is atrocious, looks awful on wrist, even a pretty dial cannot outweigh the horror of that case... and I was a Seiko fan.😢
ОтветитьLove the GMT, but would prefer a bracelet on it.
ОтветитьBeautiful watch and review. Seiko’s website says it’s hardlex glass not sapphire.
Ответить"Limited" to 3,500 pieces. ROFL.
ОтветитьHey man. I got this same watch recently. But my lume doesn't seem to last all the long. I'm wondering if it's defective. Did you notice the same by any chance? Thanks.
ОтветитьCan someone explain why so many of the watches today, especially Seiko, are GMT watches? I know many friends and even family members who have them, and all of them state that they very rarely, if ever, actually use the time zone features. Of course the same question could be asked about dive watches, when very few people ever actually use them for diving, but at least those have a couple of practical features, being waterproof, and having a timing bezel.
ОтветитьIt’s 40.5mm!
