Looks like a quality charger, however I read through the user guide and it makes no claim that this is an onboard charger for marine use, but the exact opposite quoted here Page 6 note 7: “ A marine (boat) battery must be removed and charged on shore. To charge it on board requires equipment specially designed for marine use.” They don’t go into much detail into connecting batteries other than vehicle install and ground to chassis requirements. No diagram’s or explanation of connecting multiple battery banks. Curious if the unit came with different instructions than what I could find available online?

Yes, I noticed that too. A lot if people using them on board and good reviews. It’s probably just NOCO’s way of protecting them from any liability when used on boats vs using them on vehicles like RV’s with multiple batteries. Or they just haven’t updated their user guide yet with appropriate warnings like other marine on board brands do. For example, the Minn Kota MK 330 PCL

I want to add a GenPro10x3 for my boat trolling motor (24 V VDC 80 pound Ulterra) and like you back to my starter battery. I also read do not make it longer than 10ft. I had a question for you, what extension should I connect but it looks like I have to cut and connect. I think I may buy the extension from NOCO so I can swap ends (terminals and clamps). How did you end up doing it?

do you have your two lithiums parallel or series or seperated? Are you running one bank per battery?

Just pull out the fuses instead of taping the ends

Does the charger remember the last selected battery type each time you plug it in, or do you have to select the battery type each time you use it?

I just purchased the 10/3 going to installed today my only good option to install it is laying it flat do you think it would be a problem also once the batteries are charged can’t you leave them plugged in all the time as a trickle charger?

Does it tell you battery life if it's not plugged into an extension cord?

Do you have to remove the jumper that connects the 2 12 volts making the 24 volt?

do you know if you can use these 12v Noco's on two trolling motor batteries connected in series (24v), 1 bank to each battery?

What if you have your batteries hooked up in series? Would you still hook up each battery separately?

The NOCO manual says "select the mode and then for Lithium batteries, hold the Mode button down for 3 seconds." I don't see anyone doing that on the videos. Is that something not needed ?

I know the battery charge time will vary depending on the battery size, but what's the average charge time on a AGM battery?

Can you leave the 3 batteries connected to each other, in line while charging? Or do you have to disconnect & charge each battery separately?? I know it's a silly question, but not sure.
