I had one didn’t like it it was to noisy. Going to a rk1 recurve. 10 lashes for not using a stringer lol
ОтветитьIs a nice looking bow but yah, definitely louder then you would think.
Good review 👍🏻
Instep stringing doesn't hurt your bow at all push pull.
ОтветитьLimb veneer looks like yew but I can't get a good enough look.
ОтветитьDoing a bow review?? Don't need music..just the facts! Just the facts! N get yourself a cough drop..that throat clearing is distracting as well! Might be a good bow to buy...can't tell, too much fluff and yakking goin on! C Ya!
ОтветитьGreat review Matt. I like all the info you give as I learn a little each time. Your music choice fits your down to earth videos really well. Not bad production at all for a drywaller ;-) keep up the good work I’m enjoying the channel. C ya!
ОтветитьGreat rewiev! You should try Bodnik Mohawk Hybrid Chief TD, it is dead quiet, no hand shock, heavier and it can be 58", 62" od 64" long (it depends on riser length), and great for my 31" DL
ОтветитьThanks for the review, just received my QS yesterday. When you received yours, how off was your brace hight? It recommends around 7 1/4, when I strung it up, the brace was only 5”. I’m pretty new at this trad game and this is my 1st new bow. Is this unusual, or ok? I can get it to the recommendation, but not sure if this is normal. Purchased at 3rivers and will call them too, just figured I would ask you as well. Thanks again for sharing your review.
Ответитьexcellent shot
ОтветитьI have the 2020 quick stick It has hand shock, I had a chance on buying the one you have but missed out on the ups not allowing it to be shipped and I didn't have enough to pay for a couier.
what's the year model? what would you recommend I do about the hand shock. as I like shooting with no string silencers, silencers did not help the hand shock. cheers Marcus
Just found your channel and subscribed , bought my first longbow about a month ago , cheap Black Hunter off Amazon . Wanted to wade in and not drop alot of cash , to my surprise it's a great little bow and I'm thinking I will be hunting with it next fall .
ОтветитьAnd I like the music 👍
ОтветитьHermoso lazo 🏹👍🏽
ОтветитьHiya, I have a bodnik slik stik,50# @28 ", I've had this bow for quite awhile, I've never put string silencers on it cuz it doesn't need them, plus I have a hickory/bamboo 72" longbow, 50# also, but I always grab my slik stik when I go outside, just simply a awesome bow to shoot,,I'm in my sixties n I've never owned a bow quite like this, luv it, now, I'm in need for new arrows, lol, take care out there, stay safe, shakyjake out.
Ответитьthis looks like a nice arrow chucker.. i have a fast recurve, a reflexed hickory longbow and also a 50lb montana. i tend to shoot the montana and the self bow more because im more familiar with the cast of that style bow but i do wish it was faster like the recurve. only thing i keep seeing about these quick sticks, you said it, they seem noisy. thats my favorite thing about the montana is how quiet it is, almost like the whipping sound when you cast a fishing pole not the thunk i hear from more reflexed or recurved bows. ah well, you want speed then you get some more noise i guess and vice versa
ОтветитьThanks for a good review i look forward for the next .
ОтветитьThanks for the excellent review and shooting demonstrations. Subscribed. I have the 60" Slick Stick bows in 35# and 50#. Kind of the 'plain jane' rendition of the Quick Stick. Also excellent bows, and as you say, feather light in the hand, and smooth drawing back to 32".
ОтветитьGreat review, with a pleasent and calm style of presentation, thank you :)
ОтветитьI’ve had to put 4 puffs on my strings and mess with the brace height quite a bit to silence my hybrid longbows.
ОтветитьVery good video and great music choice!
Ответить3 under the bow is noisy but silent with split ..
ОтветитьMan that thing hits dard!
ОтветитьMany thanks for a great video and personally loved the music ... Going to try one of these bows this week (alongside a bearpaw creed) as I fancy something a bit different to my horse bows
Ответитьvery nice and informative review ... also love the music ... ordered the bow and now waiting for it ... keep save ... greetings from bavaria in germany :)
ОтветитьI like that you use wood arrows in your reviews. I shoot woods all the time mostly because I like to build my own from scratch.
ОтветитьI have one and it's my loudest bow. Someone mentioned getting micro diameter arrows and that would help
ОтветитьIt looks like you have a higher brace height than recommended by Bodnik. They call for 7 1/4" brace height that may be why that bow is noisy.
ОтветитьWhy don't you stick a quarter on there next time we could see you shooting all day lmfao the bow making a kill noise every time like another kill that poor turkey 🦃the trick shot in the end of course 😊 you really made my day Bro 💯😎👍🇺🇲
ОтветитьWhat is the best way to use arrow for Bodnik ? I have 700 spine. My bow is 30# 60 @ 28 . Right now i go for cross x avatar fiber arrows.
ОтветитьExcellent review! Very thorough with specs, hunting scenarios, and presentation style. I have a Bodnik QuickStick (55lb) with a 26" draw and love it.
Ответитьnice bow I need on
ОтветитьGreat review!!!
