I did miss the Thor that I knew from Infinity War yes, but I felt like Endgame did a great job of portraying the reality that Thor is imperfect and flawed, and was dealing with a huge depression cause he is right that Thanos took everything away from him like Loki, Heimdall, half of the Asguardians even if losing Odin and his kingdom is indirectly due to Hela as well. Thor really needed help cause what he was doing to himself wasn’t healthy and could’ve died sooner if Rocket and Hulk didn’t came by and help him snap out of it.
