first?
ОтветитьKnob.
ОтветитьSo, how much is it
ОтветитьIt’s a got a knob.
ОтветитьI’m pretty curious how this will compare to the Profitec Drive in Price. The electronic grouphead and better display UX, plus the lux fit and finish are nice. At the same time, the Drive still has nearly all the same features, plus a flow meter and flow control.
I might be inclined to pick up the Synchronika over the Drive if they are priced similarly.
Nice review. I've been awaiting for the release of the new model but then again the current model is being discounted by around $500 in the U.S. I wonder whether it will be offered with a flow control valve or will it be an add on.
ОтветитьSo cute how you say duel as jewel
ОтветитьI noticed a bit of an odd audio issue that’s more noticeable near the end of the video. Your voice seems to sound a bit robotic (like those bots). Not sure if it’s a problem with the video editing or audio processing, but it may be something you need to look into. Other than that, thanks for another great and informative video!
ОтветитьI got a synkronika 5 yrs ago
Plumbed it in with a bwt bestmax pro filter.
Love it and i like this fast heat up time improvement.
Also i wish it had a auto on feature.
I actually think CREM ONE POFILER beats both Profitec and ECM Synchronika 2 in every major category for a prosumer espresso machine. Also, why no flow control on the ECM??? You should do a comparison with CREM ONE PROFILER. thanks! I am planning on buying a CREM ONE PROFILER next.
ОтветитьI'd certainly look at this or the Profitec Drive. Otherwise go to the stratosphere with one of the 'god' machines
ОтветитьHe said knob…
ОтветитьGorgeous machine!
ОтветитьAll about the KNOB
ОтветитьItalian/German coffee manifacturers have found 4€ oled screens from aliexpress :DD The fact that it doest have bluetooth and wifi proves me that they are living 10-15 years behind in progress to us.
ОтветитьI just got my new profitec drive….. god damm it I should’ve waited !!!!!!
ОтветитьCoffee engineer here. The lack of a "cool touch" group here is mostly due to cost and aesthetic. It's relatively inexpensive to have cool touch steam wands since it just require a plastic tube. Creating that sort of plastic insulation would be much more expensive to follow the water path in the group while still using the group's thermal mass for temperature stability. The alternative would be something like the Silvia Pro, which instead creates a barrier by putting the case around the group! Seems ECM is more interested in showing off the group design.
Ответитьdecent sitting there laughing at the tiny "updated" screen
ОтветитьIt's still far away from lelit bianca's capabilities
ОтветитьDoes ECM have warranty on this product? If the answer is yes, do you know what parts are covered?
ОтветитьI'll wait ...... Looking to buy as soon as it is available.
ОтветитьBought the drive it comes with the flow knob, it's quite the same with the new display, minus the knob... Yup
ОтветитьI generally like your videos but I'm not sure why you're reviewing machines which you haven't had the chance to use for an extended period of time. Seems like a way to get more views as you're able to publish before others, but it hurts your reliability. Your video on the slayer was the same thing, high praise, no experience.
ОтветитьI do not know why you'd buy the old version since the II is already available for the same price (at least in Europe) - unless sellers make some good discounts on their old stock. I had my eyes on the Synchronika II, but was very disappointed about how conservative the design is, so I opted to preorder the Meticulous Espresso instead, which I find far more exciting since it's integrating superior options for flow and pressure control out of the box in a design that's even more simple should require less maintenance. What ECM should really have done is to present an option to replace double boiler technology for the high level home consumer, which integrate options for automated flow/pressure/temperature control and reduce the power consumption for heating water (and group head). The new control interface is an upgrade, but I don't understand why they don't just provide a Bluetooth/WiFi interface, which could increase and simplify the control options, while keeping the design clean and allowing for app updates to keep features relevant.
ОтветитьHey @Rydecoffeecoach, love the intro, best in the business!
ОтветитьThat knob I think moves it to a more updated version not sure why these Italian machines limits the tech with the old style up down buttons like in the 80s
ОтветитьThe knob makes it more modern.
ОтветитьI would wait, but I have been using my ECM for 3 years...that is way too long of a wait even for a knucklehead like me. I have mine set with automatic plugs that turns on and off when I program. I can turn it on before the shower and it is ready when I get out.
ОтветитьIt's very nice build machine...and so beautiful classic design just 7 m.heat up wow
.superior its amazing 🖤☕
SYNCHRONIKA III : two knobs
ОтветитьFlow control is an available option.
ОтветитьI have the V1 and love it. I don't think the updates will get be to upgrade.
ОтветитьGood review - thank you! As for a 30-40 minute wait time for a E61 machine to be ready, I included in my electrics an auto-on timer, making it ready to go when ambling in to my kitchen of a morning. Secondly, a cool-touch group head would be super, but with present technology and engineering I can only imagine it would bulk up to almost twice its current mass - unless a NASA-inspired technology makes its way to the production line. Thirdly, why oh why does the hot water dangerously spurt from the wand? Surely to goodness the engineering lads and gals can resolve that issue. It is to my mind just as dangerous as a blazing-hot group head. And last but not least, on the new Mark II version and the settings in the thumb wheel window: are they lost when a power outage happens?
ОтветитьJust ordered mine along with a Mazzer Philos.
ОтветитьI got the previous synch recently and it was cosmetically awful. Sending it back. Was going to get the updated version but I decided I want more capability to experiment and truly control every single aspect to making espresso. I’m going to get the Decent. I love the mechanical feel of these machines but it can’t even tell you the act temp of the group head. Makes it nearly impossible to repeat consistently.
ОтветитьI bought the V1 1 week before they released the V2... Feel kind of scammed to be honest. They reduced the price by 1200 bucks on the one I bought. Well well...
Ответить7 minutes? More like 4.
ОтветитьI’m in the market for a new machine and love the ECM design and craftsmanship. It’s proven difficult to procure one in the states other than checking ebay. If you know of a reputable dealer let me know.
