What I like to do is kill a boss while boosting my rune gain. That way I gain 500,000 runes in 1 second. All I have to do then is beat the entire game over and I can get 500,000 runes in 1 second again

It doesn’t matter if it’s day or night, sometimes enemies spawn in with glowing eyes. Sometimes a ton of NPCs in an area will. That has NO difference on their difficulty level as someone mentioned - it’s just the same exact enemy with a ton more runes. Purely RNG, has ZERO to do with time of day.

Mogh’s palace: giant crow. Albunarics. Best in game, no need for further videos on it - everyone knows.

At my level that area gets me 200+ within 25 seconds. One arrow to the bird, two swipes with Sacred Relic Sword for the Albunarics, rest at grace and repeat.

Here's a better method: Get a mixed out sacred sword with the golden scarab and gold pickled foul foots hen go to mohgwyn palace and go to the palace approach ledge and use wave of gold, after that you should get about 80k runes per
