Edit: it wasn't a scam either
I bought a 1080 ftw when the 30 series was out then upgraded to 3080ti when 40 series came out. If you know how to buy used ez savings
ОтветитьRecently got a MSI 1080 Gaming X in excellent condtion for $150 shipped
ОтветитьPlease bring scrapyard wars back!
ОтветитьThe only new PC hardware I have ever purchased was my two NVME drives in my PC
ОтветитьI considered myself lucky to find a new 1080Ti back in 2017 for $650, holy cats at this current market.
ОтветитьWHAT? There is NO goddamn way the 20 series was five years ago.
ОтветитьMy last gpu is an 3080 that will be my last gpu its simply to expensive. I gonna use it untill it dosent work anymore or the prices go down. But unfortunately some ppl will buy the expensive cards and set the prices.
ОтветитьDood Linus NVIDIA is laughing out load at this video those NVIDIA CEO’s ar greedy than EA😅
Ответитьyeah do something abooth it. When you gonna build a low energy consuming gamer pc for good prices?
ОтветитьBought a used RTX 3070 for about $350 and I am super happy with it!
ОтветитьAfter seeing jays twocents video on you don't need to listen to my advice but companies are going to buy up gpu for ai learning. I wonder how many people are going to rush and buy the latest gpu.
ОтветитьDon't worry more people will continue to buy overpriced Nvidia GPUs
ОтветитьI managed to buy a 2080ti for 300 but it's both not what i hoped for and the other prices were out of mind (italy)
ОтветитьAll of this video's captioning appears at the very beginning, but only for a few seconds. At first I was wondering if there was an accident during the video editing stage, but when I got to the end, I remembered what I saw on the screen in the beginning, and then I realized what happened - and realized there was no captioning beyond the first few seconds, as well as why.
ОтветитьToday i found rtx 2080 super for $225 usd when just a year ago i was seeing gtx 1070 gpus sell for 300 usd
ОтветитьSCAMMERS
Ответитьscrapyard wars 9 battle royale
ОтветитьThe blasphemy of Linus not having a ridge wallet!! 😭😁
ОтветитьI disagree. Influencers and "Tech-Gurus" absolutely can do a lot more than normal costumers.
By denying those "giants" saying they won't review their GPU's because they do not agree on the absurd prices you pretty much hurt nVidia for example the most, since a massive portion of your followers will automatically agree with you on the pricing being absurd.
That in turn will let nVidia miss out on a lot of revenue and therefore they need to act on it. The more techtubers would do so, the more Nvidia and others would be forced to act. But that of course would mean those Techtubers would miss out on a "nice deal" with those giants and therefore sponsorship might be denied. A lot of money nearly no Techtuber is willing to miss out on.
Why is a used Rx 5700 xt worth $150-200?
Does it have a lot better performance than a Rx 6600 selling new for under $200 with far less power consumption??
And yeah, I get it about delusional Facebook sellers. Have you seen the majority of their ads? They’ve been trying to sell the same graphics cards without success for 4 months plus. I wish Facebook would just remove their ads after 2 months or start charging them every month. These free ad placements are part of the issue. These sellers are basically looking/hoping to run into “a tool” someone who has no clue what the items are worth. Worse, some sellers actively post BS retail pricing from some 3rd party seller off Amazon with their used ad. As if, that was a real retail market price just because it appears somewhere in the backwoods of Amazon. Since it takes only a few minutes to discover a real used market price, we can rule out ignorance and move right on to rip off artists.
Back in the day when I sold on EBay (2000), there were No Free Postings. You paid every listing a small amount upfront. There were few goofball sellers then. Strange things happen when you force people to have skin in the game. All these Facebook sellers would have a come to jesus moment if they were required to pay for the listing. No more trial balloons, no more junk cards and no more BS ads.
I sell some things on Facebook. I price it realistically and if it isn’t sold within 14 days there is a problem. Likewise, I only look to buy things posted within 14 days. Any longer and there is likely a seller issue. I just wish it was easier to look for items without being hip deep in these crap sellers (which is about the whole place). These are the same sellers who claim there is a problem with buyers, but I've rarely ran into any issues with the buyers. If you price the item correctly to start with, you're going to sell it too fast to be bothered with lowballers.
Bring scrapyard wars back! 🎉
ОтветитьIsn't 4060 a bad comparison? Like the 4070 and 4070 ti is much much quicker anyway right? I have heard the 4060's should I just skip. Is that correct to do?
ОтветитьI bought my 3070 ti overpriced at the same price ass is today a 4070 ti and that was 3 years agoo i bought the gpu in the next days of launch, back then i knew was a shortage of chips but today whats wrong to have a 4070ti around 1000 euro same price asa my 3070 to costed 3 years agoo.
Ответитьzero likes here too
ОтветитьThe easiest way to fix new GPU pricing is to simply buy Radeon.
ОтветитьI got a used full working rtx 3080ti for £400 (C$680) with a eiswolf aio included
Ответить6 months later i got 6700xt for 200 usd +11 months waranty
Thanks crypto crash 😂
The thing most people don't know or don't want to talk about is that the miniaturization of lithography (lowering the nanometers) increases costs. Nearly (maybe all) of the GPUs on the market are produced at TSMC, located in Taiwan. TSMC constantly spends billions, even tens of billions of dollars, on building new machines and expanding their facilities to meet its customers' needs. Hence, GPU prices go up.
Ответить"I won the game! Oh, and you...."
He didn't even say it and i still lost
Stop telling anyone that there is good value anymore.
You know these articles that try to justify GPU prices with inflation? Do the same with CPUs. If you want, go back as far as 2009. Plot spoiler: Trying to acount for current GPU prices via inflation is doing the Public Relations work for GPU makers. Same as 15 years ago, decent 100 bucks CPU still exist. A Ryzen 5 7600 costs not a buck more than the Phenom II 955 either. Affordable motherboards are available to. As do storage devices.
Superior product offered for similar or even lower prices, that's what people called progress. In most markets, they still do. That's why everyone can easily afford 4K TVs, and why even the cheapest smartophens are equipped with specs PCs of the past could only dream about. GPU makers meanwhile are trying to sell you that sinking prices are a thing of the past. That "the more you buy, the more you save". And that progress was cancelled.
So: Please stop. There's deals that are somewhat better than others.
But value? Is dead.
Bruh this gpu has raised in price 10 months later, the warranty isn't even active anymore wtf???
Ответитьliving in EU is horrible regarding PC part prices period i can get a cheap car for the price of a 7800xt or 4080
ОтветитьThe idea that consumers through individual choices can fix the insane price gouging going on in the GPU market is already hilariously deluded, but going a step further to suggest the way to do it is by buying used products is absolutely insane. No and no, "we" the consumers really have no power here sadly, Nvidia has established a near monopoly and they can do whatever the fuck they want until either A) AMD, Intel or someone else force them to stop with better offerings (doubtful) or B) The government(s) intervene(s) in some way.
ОтветитьI live in northern Europe and there are very few sites where people sell used stuff. Usually it's some 10 years old 💩 they're trying to sell for 70-80 % of the price it used to cost new.
ОтветитьI've GTX 970 and basically it's unplayable right now, starting this year I got laid off from Amazon, since I got time I thought of buying a new graphics card but the cards to price ratio is so bad that I thought of waiting. This is just to punish Nvidia but seems everyone betrayed me and bought lots of Nvidia cards even though they're giving subpar GPU this generation. On top of that they're actually cheating this time by selling lower tier products at higher prices by naming gou die to next level graphics card label. Each Nvidia graphics card except 4090 should be at least 1 level down. 4060 should be 4050, 4060 ti should be 4060, 4070 should be 4060 ti and so on.
Ответитьyeah i got scammed of a 1050ti thats was bit damaged on the screw in bracket and it was 70$ nzd but i paid the guy the money before he sent it and he removed the listing before i bought it didnt think it was a red flag or anything bad
ОтветитьMe pays only when there are sales.
ОтветитьAre the RX 7900XT a good graphics card
ОтветитьHaven't bought a gpu in 8 yrs, now i need one, my 1050ti is struggling. When i make a transaction, i always bring my trusty old .357 just incase things get out of line.
ОтветитьDeep Seek needs to come out with GPU that’s how the price will drop. 😂
ОтветитьI’m trying to buy a 2080 ti as they are 350-400 cad in my area
ОтветитьIm still using my 560ti
ОтветитьWhy did my 6600xt go way up in price linus? WHY?
Ответитьa few months ago i got a second hand rtx 3090 for 400usd 🤩🤩
Ответить
