I put the flama and the mariana on my wish list like alittle kid.
Im over 50 and its pedal heaven these days. Back then they were expensive like Straymon etc with same brands all over.
So much fun now!
Thanks for this comparison as I'm looking at buying one of these for playing worship lead guitar at church! Are you able to change presets in live situation with the footswitch? It looks like you can
Ответитьeven on the first effect,
TC electronics has more presence and harmonics
experience and soul, not only technologics...
I've owned both, and on the dial settings they're both pretty good, I would have preferred trails on with the Flamma for a better head to head comparison, but there's nothing on the Flamma that compares with the toneprint and deep editing features on the HOF2.
My 2 cents: If your musical tastes revolve around reverb, go with the HOF2. Otherwise, the Flamma pedal will satisfy 95% of your reverb needs for 30-40% less money.
It would be nice for Perry to compare these two with the Digitech Polara, it's out of production but is still a serious contender for best affordable (sub $150 used) reverb.
Great video - worth listening to for the playing alone.
HOF is far superior. The difference is huge.
ОтветитьLove your videos man, you really know what we need before buying some pedal, a real test and not just advertisement. Really appreciate it.
ОтветитьI have both: HOF2 with my Moog Voyager and FS02 with my lo-fi Volca setup. I think both are really lovely. I still need to figure out my own preferable settings on the FS02 in my use case. Current draw on Flamma is a good point. Now I have a bad daisy-chain power adaptor, which might not be good enough.
ОтветитьThe mod reverb on the Flamma is far better than the one on the TC.
ОтветитьFor both of them is good....
ОтветитьThe HOF2 sounds much better to me. The other pedal has some unnatural resonances
ОтветитьFlamma sounds better
ОтветитьTC is better and there is no discussion. But is there any advantage for being receiving L and R stereo signal? Because FLAMMA is receiving MONO signal, only L.
ОтветитьThank you thank you thank you
ОтветитьEl flamma se siente como más Ice, mas abierto. El Tc es un clásico más controlado.
ОтветитьThank you for This!!
ОтветитьWhich has a better build quality? Im a beginner guitarist but I'd like something that will last, just to use at home. They both sound righteous when used in this demo
ОтветитьTo me the Room and Mod are superior in HOF2: very Natural , I do prefer the rest of the verbs in Flamma .
ОтветитьThis is great! I did notice the tail setting is long on the HoF and short on the FS02 though. So that might explain why HoF appears to be more “lush.”
ОтветитьHello everyone and thank you. I think having the pre-delay and separate tones is an added value. Personally I get the reverbs put by the Mixer....in stereo, same thing for the delays.
There is no comparison. Warm greetings from Italy.-
U did very well comparing both of reverb
ОтветитьSame (or maybe better) sound for half the price. Damn Flamma, you have made an impressive pedal! Great demo man, keep up the great work, subscribed :) I have a question: How long have you been using the Flamma pedal? Is it well-built & sturdy?
ОтветитьMano tenho um Fuhrmann Reverb RV-1
Comprei ressentimente, uso no violão. Será que esse flamma é melhor?vi que esse tem mas opções.
This is great, so relaxing if nothing else! Thanks for such attention to detail and showing all the knob sweeps.
I have had the Mooer R7, which is basically the Flamma in this format (same company or just from the same factory?). I traded it for the upgraded R7 X2 which hugely improves everything and puts the dry sound "behind" the reverb which is much better to my ear. Have been really hoping the flamma would follow as I much prefer the simplicity and larger firm compared to the original R7.
Also agree with whoever said the 300ma draw is a real tragedy. The R7x2 is the same and it has to have it's own powerbank on my boards.
I feel like the Hall of Fame sounds clearly better; but the Flamma is not bad at all still
ОтветитьNice comparison! I own and use both pedals. I'm much more oriented toward the HOF2, but the FS02 has served me well.Ive had them both on my board, using the HOF2 for the shimmer mode and the FSO2 for the "always on" hall mode. I like the MASH buttons on the HOF as well as the tone print slots, so if I had to pick, I would go with the HOF2. Thanks for the nice, slow knob twisting. I learned some things about my reverb pedals by watching this!
ОтветитьDear friend, you who tested the pedals live, can you tell me which one you liked the most? From the video the two have a nice sound, but I have the impression that the HOF is a little superior.... And live? Which one do you recommend?
ОтветитьFlamma FS02 or Joyo Atmosphere?
ОтветитьI have owned the hall of fame and didn't really enjoy it in use, I bought the Flamma and it arrived but no reverb it was defective and is currently being swapped out but I still think the Flamma is going to be a better buy and more use especially with the pre delay knob.
ОтветитьThe audio in this video is great. Also like the no talking. Gets straight to the point. Very nice. I just ordered the Flamma. Sounds great.
ОтветитьO pedal da flamma esquentar é normal?
ОтветитьThanks for the video. To me, both have a slight glassy trail, that has almost a subtle bit of a vibrato to it, which I don't particularly like. I like a smooth trail. With that said, I'm leaning towards buying the HOF or a Boss. Between these two, I definitely like the HOF, it's a bit more lush. and that 300 ma 9volt flamma adapter is a deal breaker for my pedal board.
ОтветитьHelp advice please.
They both sound good. I don't play a guitar. I use tape loops and pedal feedback with a few drones.
Reverbs are the bane of my life. I've owned a few cheap ones that either sound bad, to much dry signal or worst still, clip in an unusable digital way with the hot signals I use. I like my Holy Grail but it's one knob and mono.
Has anyone used the flammable on synths? Can it handle a hot signal?
These are in my budget, The Cathedral looks great but the footprint is an issue. Does the hof foots witch swell?
Thanks for the video, Perry! Have you tried the Flamma FS-22 Ekoverb?
ОтветитьNice video! I have the HOF and I'm thinking on switching to the Flamma. Do you know if the Flamma works with dry-through signal as the HOF does? Thanks Perry!!!
ОтветитьThe Flamma was my very first effects pedal so I'm biased but I genuinely think you can't beat it for the price and sound...
Ответитьhof or flamma?
ОтветитьSomething to consider is the current draw: HOF requires 100 Ma, Flamma 300 Ma. For me the reason not to get the flamma, I didn’t want to add an extra powersupply to my board. I prefer the sounds in the Flamma, HOF sounds overall pretty dark to my ears.
ОтветитьOne big difference. The Flamma is $78.00 USD and the TC is $149.00 USD
ОтветитьTo be honest with Perry you could give him a cheap as Chips effects pedal and he would make it sound awesome.
ОтветитьThank You for this video. They are both on my wishlist.I heard, that HoF works with battery not long. For outdoor music is that very important. What is Your opinion?
ОтветитьDo both these pedals have the mash affects.??
ОтветитьThey are both good! I sympathize with those who have to choose between these two pedals)) Any of them will help interplanetary flights. Thanks for the demo🌌
ОтветитьFor me it’s hard to say. As they both sounds a great pedal.
ОтветитьI’ve heard a lot with the hall of fame 2. They are suppose to be a very good pedal. What’s your views on it. Thanks.
