I ADORE Kennedy Ryan's books. I'm working my way through her back log and I'm low key sad when I'll be done. 🤣 I love her writing style. I literally binge all of her books.

Incidents around the house genuinely gave me uneasy feelings. I don't think its the scariest book I've ever read (I also do NOT read horror at all) but I audio booked it and the audiobook was voiced by a child and I felt soooooo uneasy

i think rereading is not a book slump cause youre getting another perspective of the book and interacing with it in a new way! Also, you're still reading! It's like a palette cleanser before starting something new again

I love how realistic you are being with us, about your struggle to get out of a book slump. I have been going through one right now and literally any book I would pick, I'd dnf before getting more than 30% into it. It just makes me feel not alone, seeing that someone who is such an avid reader may also sometimes struggle getting into new books and finishing them.
