@kenan grace when you say selling options are you talking covered options. When I usually just sell puts and calls I always thought I was going against the the play like I'm shorting calls and puts. That's how I always interpreted it

TSLA, MSTR and NVDA have been my go to on the wheel.

Have to be careful selling calls & letting those shares go. Remember if it’s in a taxable account you have to pay the taxes. Of course you can roll too. And if u made enough premium over the years it could be ok. So lots to consider. And they can take your shares earlier than the expiration date too.

I think I would want to be farther out of the money, just so that these profitable shares don't get called away and trigger a taxable event.
