Rings of Power Review DISASTER - Behind The Scenes Part 1

The making of Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, where Amazon reveal that behind the scenes the show was even worse! This is part 1 of what I think will be a 3 part series (having already recorded the first 4 making of parts). And BOY believe me do you get some absolute gold in this show, from the showrunner himself no less lmao. I dread to think what's in the last 4 parts that I've not watched yet! Also with Disney Plus's willow coming up alongside National Treasure, I think we'll have more reviews soon. Your comment about the making of actually being dumber than the show made me truly laugh. It also reminded me why I cannot listen to most of the commentary of Lord of the Rings. I could not believe some of those actors had actually participated in telling this epic tale of Good and Evil and totally missed the entire point!

The "deep conversations" he's talking about is referring to the time when these idiots were filming the scene with Guyladriel in the ocean and they tried to talk to each other while they were under water.

My first reaction to the orcs were “I can’t even see them long enough to see what it is” which told me right then that the creators knew their show was trash and that people wouldn’t be disgusted by terrible costume designs of orcs

After hearing J.A. Bayona talk about his thought process behind the series, I think I now know why Fallen Kingdom was such trash.

Galadriel has as much personality and character development as Bran in Game of Thrones

After watching the behind the scenes, im sure, 50% of the production cost went into drug therapies and psychologists even before they shot the first scene.

Recently found your channel in my recommendations from watching tons of Critical Drinker reviews. These episode breakdowns, almost full views with commentary are absolute gold! You are like MST3K, but with the current B movie crap they're trying to sell as awesome. Turns out, with a little commentary, it actually is awesome!

If I were making a nomadic people, like the Harfoots, I'd use the real world example of the Romani/Gypsies.
They'd live in their caravans, travelling around, and basically divide the world into Harfoots (themselves) and everyone else, and everyone else's property is fair game.

This video shows in a nutshell, why people find most of Hollywood to be completely vapid, out of touch, assholes. I’ve never seen such a back-slapping bunch of fools than these actors and crew members. Not only do they pretend like everything they do is amazing and “inspirational,” but they even claim to control water.

These guys (producers?) in the interviews, why are they talking so fast? Are they afraid someone get's the chance to think about what they just said and notice that it is complete nonsense?

Congratulations Amazon Prime for ruining Tolkien's legacy!

It is unbelievable that Amazon's tech business has always been to iterate, create something new, collect feedback from users and then improve based on that feedback, that's what made Amazon the top tech company every. Now we are accused of haters, trolls or racists, when providing feedback.
Amazon should admit its mistake, apologize and start over, besides firing showrunners and producer.
We, Tolkien fans, do NOT like it, we don't hear Tolkien in the story, we have been waiting for years for this show only to be surprised by low quality non-canon characters and stories, not to mention US own race-issues ideologies dragged into the scripts. There is world outside the US! this show speaks more of the USA than Tolkien's work.

Amazon should open an honest debate about the result of the first season, and like the company's core philosophy, collect feedback and improve their product based on that. Otherwise, if you insult your own fans, who is going to pay the bills for this massively expensive show?
We are also aware of rating manipulation of rotten tomatoes. How embarrassing is that?

I refuse to watch the second season because I do not support this. Real Tolkien fans should do the same as a sign of protest.

It is astonishing how seriously the writers and makers of this disaster tool themselves. They produce a "Behind the Scenes" video series as if they created a timeless masterpiece that we are all hanging on their every word to better understand and appreciate, and yet are so stupid that they don't realize that their :"inspirations and Insights" are absolute drivel.

We need diversity at the expense of truth itself. Even if it means to rewrite the history.

The making off suggests me. Mel Brooks film the Producers. As it was a deliberate flop.

When she says "they are nomads in this world", it sounds like she says "there are no meths in this world"

I cannot believe how pompous and hollow this commentary is, and all of the people in it. They ramble brainwashed disconnected nonsense with blissful grins on their faces, like members of some crazy cult.

I got the sense that Bronwyn loved and cared for her son in the 20 minutes of screen time she shared with him during season 1

Not fond of a lot of the commentary, you were trying to find things that were not strong jokes and you ended up sounding needlessly mean about the actors trying to work with trash they were given. The content is shit, but you don't have to be overtly mean about it, the content is the joke, let it destroy itself and ride that destruction. Let the actors have their workflow, there's nothing inherently bad with them having to find ways to integrate with the characters as best they can. Making fun of the Galadriel actress for having to be okay with an actually dangerous water scene made me turn on your opinions rather quickly. That water work is exceptionally dangerous, that's why they needed to have that many scuba divers, so it just proves you lack perspective on the difficulties they had to deal with. How horrid the show is doesn't denigrate what she had to go through in the stunt at all.

yeah the season 1 directers cut will be awsom and add atlest 4 houre extra time wherer they cut away men being awsom ! sins we cant have that ! rember when lord of the ring the dvd that look like a bood and was like 4 dvd each ! wherer they added over 40 min extra movie time and so mutch extra ! including fight senes and extended fight senes that was cut out from boring ass dvd and even cimena version that is longer end the peasent version of dvd aka short version ! so there are like 3 difrent run time on each lord of the ring dvds !
