Tony Khan & AEW is the Donald Trump of Pro Wrestling lots and lots of smoke & mirrors (i’m a bit surprised in this day and age where fans think they are so smart to the ins-and outs of Pro Wrestling they buy into this guy and what he’s selling he’s truly clueless to the real world (He’s without a doubt the biggest money mark in the last 30yrs without a doubt booker of the year really (how much money did he throw at them to get that?) Dixie was clueless but, at least she didn’t claim to be a hardcore fan

I’m detecting some jealousy with DI and Konnan for not being invited to be a part of AEWs successful run. Instead they are becoming like Cornette and just pissing on everything. I’m just about done with this show

I wonder what happens if I say I enjoy AEW, TNA/IMPACT, WWE, and NJPW.

I think Tony's problem is he doesn't seem to be aware professional wrestling is about drawing money. Workrate isn't the only thing that makes a succesful pro wrestler. Overall talent acquisition wise I still think Tony has done a better job in less time. Dixie had great acquisitions too. But she also had Russo writing and had too many washed up stars who were really hogging the spotlight too much. AEW seems to balance their legends better.

I don’t watch wrestling regularly anymore. Matter of fact I’m doing some housecleaning while the first WW3 PPV is on.

I want AEW to be successful. I want WWE to continue to be successful.

Even if I’m no longer the target audience, I want the fans to have more options of things to enjoy, and d I want the athletes to have more options on how and where they can make money.

I grew up watching WWF, WCW, and GWF... with some refund of ICW, WCCW, and an early pre-Heyman ECW. That was a fun part of my childhood, and as a military kid, it helped out a lot during a period when I was at 4 different schools in 2 countries (3 states) in a single school year.

Khan is definitely worse. At least Dixie wasn't trying to book the product and despite her fuck ups, some matches and angles did still make sense and have good logic during her run. I'll take Dixie era TNA/Impact over Tony Khan's AEW any day...even with Claire Lynch and "August 1 Warning"😂. Dixie's TNA/Impact was far more watchable.

We have to wait and see if he wants to put himself on TV. By so many accounts, Dixie really wanted to be on TV. I may not like nostalgia acts in wrestling. However many fans do, look at how often at the HOF inductions you hear. “One More Match”, chanted by the fans. I honestly think, both Dixie and Tony believe the older wrestlers will help. I just think they were/are blinded by limited upside to making them big parts of the show.

I'll say that Dixie is worse because at least with Khan, you know you're going to get paid
