Beautiful ... although 20 Year ago the Parkachik Glacier was down to the road & you could walk under the ice right there, Now it looks miles away! . but the bus from Kargil took 8 hours. Unusually they had a system that the 60 people joining the bus would board before the 60 people on the bus got off, so the ones on the bus could save their seat for their friends . A difficult system !
