I have been following Caitlin for a couple of months now. She is such an inspiration! I have done a lot of home renovation and built out a van on my own, but watching her mill her own trees for her build was on a different level. It's fascinating and I am hooked. I get giddy whenever I see her bring logs to that mill. Thank you Woodland Mills for supporting this amazing woman!

I'm an Australian-born Latvian who follows Caitlin from Phnom Penh, Cambodia (where I live and work). She is an inspiration to me because I plan to retire in the next year or so, move back to Latvia, buy forested off-grid land, and do what she's doing. I come with no manual or technical skills.

We bought our woodland mill years ago and have used it over the years, but as a woman I have wanted to take it on more and learn how to do it myself, I would love to learn how to build some of those projects my husband doesn't have time to do, and hopefully find a way to make some money from home as well. I am a senior of 75Yrs and I absolutely love your videos. I spent 7rs in Fairbanks in the 80's and I know how difficult it is in those extremes. The Peninsula does not have the extremes as the interior but it is still Alaska . And what you are doing solo is remarkable. I was shocked to have found your videos and I have watched everyone made of your cabin build. Please continue sharing your work/progress on your channel.

Hi, I am so proud to see another woman who will just get up and go for it. I am 74 years old Greatgrand Mother. I have been divorced for 48 years with 24 of those years in the Military. I have repaired and remodeled 3 different homes that I have lived in and am now living in the 3rd one. Plus I have had rentals for the past 25 years and do the maintenance in them. Soo… Girl if I can do it then so can you. You are doing an incredible job. I am so happy to see the different stages being completed and I’m looking forward to seeing the finished products.
