I always wondered if the director wanted Michael Jordan in this scene since his name is in the title and is the basis of Calvin's powers from the lighting strike! I'm sure they did ask him or try to get ahold of him and he likely turned it down or maybe wanted more money for the cameo than they could pay him resulting in them scouting other players to put in the movie! Seeing Jordan in his Wizards jersey in this scene would have been cool though and even though Jordan isn't much of an actor I think he'd still find a way to make this scene way more charming than Iverson did given how charismatic Jordan was in real-life with his fans and the media! It's one of those crazy what could have been scenarios to ponder! 🤔💭
