Mam I m from India can u tell me how to increase breast milk supply... My baby is 1.5 months old...At first 15-20 days my milk supply is high... Bt nowadays it's getting low... Can u tell me what would I do for this??

I heard rubbing the flanges with coconut oil will work and making sure the flanges fix your breast i dealt with this before to it hurts bad makes you want give up

Put ur own milk on ur nipple , it will help so fast

What is it that your baby is sleeping on in the bassinet so that there’s no movement ?

For me was that my little man didn’t latch on right when nursing so it caused cracked dry nipples… I did my best nursing him and I pumping on a level low setting just to get rest of the milk out… I did use the nipple cream but it didn’t help… I ended up using some breast milk rubbing it around and letting it air dry was so helpful…

How do you start exclusively pumping? I’m trying to focus on that right now versus also nursing. But I don’t know how to save any milk for a stash if I’m feeding her what I pump…

Currently dealing with cracked and bleeding nipples and I am exclusively pumping. I am also wheezing. Every time I pump it's like I'm reopening the wound. It hurts so bad. I feel your pain.

Did you get more milk supply as your baby grew? My little one is currently 7 weeks old and on my right boob I get about 4oz of milk and my left I get 2-3oz. I also pump because my pet down is too fast for her and she has reflux and colic😓

When you pump, are you supposed to put the setting on high so it kind of hurts your nipple as you express or can you leave it on the lower setting where it doesn't hurt your nipples when expressing? Like is it more effective to put it on high even though it may hurt your nipples when expressing ?

Do you like the Medela nipples? I just found some on Amazon and ordered a set of 4! We used Tommee Tippee bottles with my first daughter, but I had a Tommee Tippee pump so I could just pop a nipple on and feed. I have a Medela Pump in Style pump now so I thought it would make sense to have the nipples. I’ve seen some people complain about the flow being too fast though?

Lanolin is good. But I prefer the earth mama nipple butter bc it has multiple oils that heal & protect.

Yes an inverted nipple may just be painful going out and in. But if the irritation has turned into an infection - Try antibiotic cream (you have to wipe off before pumping). I had a painful cracked nipple and my doctor ended up giving me oral antibiotics.

How long did it take you to getting that much per pump? I also have one bad side and am 6 days PP but only getting 1.5 oz total per pump 😔

I had my first baby 2 months ago and fell out of breastfeeding on accident I was pumping at least once a day so my supply has tanked but I am about to start trying to build it back up by pumping more

You could also look into flange sizes. Changing the flange size or checking position of your flange may or may not make a difference.

Your kids are beautiful 😍 breastfeeding for me only lasted about 2 months. When my son slowed down eating I produced more than he drank and my fridge was overflowing with milk.

Have you dealt with criticism from family/friends about exclusively pumping ? On my partners side of the family they keep telling me I should directly nurse from the boob … ignoring the fact the I’m still feeding my baby my milk 🙃🙃🙃

I’m sorry your nipple is cracked like that. That cream you put on will definitely help heal it faster. I can’t believe how fast lil man has grown up. He’s getting so big now. You’re doing such a great job, crazy hectic times do not last and with time it will get better.

I recommend putting coconut oil on the cracked nipple and wearing silver cups after your pump sessions. The silver cups helped me heal my cracked nipples and were a lifesaver when having clothes (or anything) over my nipple hurt 😢
