Sound advice, thanks.
ОтветитьLove your videos very informative. Could you please do a video on squatting laws in Ireland because I understand it's a bit of a grey area to most people.
ОтветитьCan i ask what is open to an employee who finds himself or herself in the situation where an employee will not engage with the
grievances in the workplace? let me offer an example so you understand where i am coming from. An Employee on a (CE) Community Scheme working in an office with other employees (Employed Staff) and an issue raises its ugly head, between a person on the CE scheme and the employed employee of the company, the person on CE has made attempts to to try and get the issues sorted, but the employee who is employed by the company says i am not going through the grievances procedures as the person on the CE is not an employee of the company and i don't have to? I would assume that this would be a similar situation between agency workers and staff directly employed by the company, any thoughts Terry?
😅😅
ОтветитьThank you for this video, it was well made.
ОтветитьGreat video. I'd like to find out if you receive a grievance about something that happened more than 90 days of the incident and they don't provide substantive evidence, is it valid?
ОтветитьI had to leave after giving a grievence to a workplace. My old job turned on me for it, made my life considerably difficult for it and getting the union involved. I have now learned to just leave the job and not complain even if you do have evidence.
ОтветитьWhat if you are talking to a manager about leaving early and u put in for it but that manager says that they can't deal with that at the moment but then you say something that they don't like nothing bad and then that manager say that they are being Harrahed
ОтветитьGo to stage 4 with grievance procedure then contact acas they will contact the company on your behalf,(company normally declines to talk to acas )then u can apply for tribunal on what your complaint is I did it 😉 took 6 months one week away from them having to respond to tribunal and they caved in ....remember if you know your right you can't lose .(remember to keep all your evidence)
ОтветитьMay I ask a question? When HR recieves a grievance letter, what is the time frame for HR to respond. According to the company policy, it is 7 days. But in reality, it takes more than a month. Thanks.
ОтветитьHow does this work with vendors who execute direct store deliveries inside of store chains.
ОтветитьI was warned. I was told to file the grievance. I decided not to. I took the high road. The union rep was absolutely right.
ОтветитьSo if your boss is the person you have to complain about, you have to complain to them first? America really fucking sucks I wish Canada wasn't so strict on emigrating.
ОтветитьI wish there were better options for U.S. Americans. The United States has got to have the worst protections against workplace bullying. I'm dealing with a particularly nasty workplace bully, and I've got virtually zero options for organizational or legal support.
Ответитьinequalities, unaddressed grievances and exclusion, ANOTHER NATO?
NO ACTION TALK ONLY? TALK, TALK, TALK MONTH BY MONTH, THESE PEOPLE GOT THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS SHOWING ON TV WITH EXPENSIVE SUITS, WHERE PEOPLE OUTSIDE ARE DYING DIRELY. SAME AS DODO.. ONCE A DODO ALWAYS A DODO. JUZ A MATTER OF TIME BEING SLAUGHTERED TO EXTINCTIONS DUE TO FLIGHTLESS AND FIGHTLESS CAPABILITIES.
It's a bit difficult to understand some of the phrases or abbreviations.
There are no visual captions or diagrams.
There are no point-by-point definitions that would explain and indicate what is necessary and what is unacceptable.
A separate and clear explanation of the employee's rights are needed.
The explanation itself is chaotic and therefore difficult to perceive and remember.
Not all people are able to perceive it the way you present it.
Nothing was said about what to pay attention to and how to behave if the worker has already been fired.
Did the employer have the right to terminate the contract before the end of the complaint proceedings?
Is there a time frame within which the complaint proceedings should be completed?
Therefore, it is clear that you have not prepared for the performance.
This is unacceptable for a good lawyer.
It would help if you could take lessons on how to properly explain any material to ordinary people.
But, thank you for your efforts, anyway.
Would it be recommendable to have a representative in such case?
If you are not SIPTU member, should you maybe hire a solicitor to help you with the grievance procedure?
Or it is better first to allow the company to make it's own way of dealing with the grievance, and if an employee is not happy with the outcome to go further and hire a solicitor?
Great video. You've earned yourself a new subscriber!
I was wondering if you've done any videos on unfair salaries. Ie. 2 people in the same role receiving significant different salaries?
Thanks
