This is a great new building. I agree that the installation with the mirrors is very clever and convincing - the real edges are really hard to spot. The Tank is also an amazing space - I really hope they update it regularly to keep it fresh.

Great critique. I visited today. What was apparent was none of the staff could discuss the works, there was no knowledge to share beyond the small blurb at the side of each work. The tank display really lacked this.

Yep that Concrete Concern that blocks view should be all Glass and downsized..Can not believe they made that obvious blue..Gr8t walk thru Thankyou.

Thank you for the video and review. I enjoyed reliving my visit in June from New Zealand, and your take on it. I agree with your critiques and encouragements at the end, and I'm sure the facility will grow in depth and maturity and use over time.

I was struck by how light and and how much space there was which is a strength, and putting Indigenous Art at the front is definitely the right thing to do.

My main word was encounter - lots of encounters and great moments, but I agree that perhaps there is not a lot of depth at this point.
