never got a closure until this day with and for my dad, he went through depression hard at last and stressed through due to a unexpected divorce with my mom and at the very end I took him in because he ask me too felt guilty until this day BECAUSE I couldn’t prevent his suicide action will never forget and forgive myself.

Love this song and will always hit me in the heart. My dad suffered a stroke and was in the ICU during covid and it was all scary. I really thought the worst was going to happen to him because he basically died for 3 seconds. Everyday I always tell my dad that I love him and that I’m so thankful in this life to have someone I can call my best friend and cry to when I need shoulders ❤️

This song hits me hard. My dad passed away when I was in high school. We were always naughty never listening to him. He always told us to be good and study hard because he never had the chance we, he had to work hard to get to where he was at, he was abandoned as a child. He eventually got sicker and sicker as years passed by. Seeing someone so strong becoming weaker and weaker as time passed. My mom and I would always alternate shift to be with him at the hospital because he didn’t speak English well. When he passed I felt so helpless not being able to do anything other than being the shoulder my mom could cry on. He passed so suddenly. I wish I could’ve spent more time with him, listen to his life story and be there more for him. 😭😭
