so.....don't avoid these? whats up with this video title...
ОтветитьThis man is officially a headphones scientist. 🎧
ОтветитьI have the shokz open run, they are ok, but definitely purpose specific. They are good for when I need the situation awareness but if I don't I definitely prefer more traditional earbuds or full headphones. Music is kinda muffled with bone conduction and at higher volumes the vibrations kinda hurt my head.
Ответитьi dont understand the title.. you didnt give any valid reason to avoid the other brands other than the proprietary charging cables ? which is really not an issue for most users, you can buy a new cable if lost for 7$ for the Shockz.
ОтветитьJust 58 seconds in and I've decided to seek my information elsewhere
ОтветитьThere is no God damn way you ran for an hour and a half and look and act like that. I've ran for a stupid long time (USMC vet). I've ran with guys who could run a 6 minute mile like it was a walk down the street, with ease. But they do not have 0 signs of sweat. Perfect hair. Perfect breathing. I get it. Put on a show. But don't show me your watch at the start saying you just ran 8 miles and lie to people. Disliked and moving on. Don't lie to people and they might watch your content and respect you more as a person.
ОтветитьJust got an openmove shockz today and its got a C charger thank goodness :-)
ОтветитьNo pause button in 100% deal breaker
ОтветитьGood luck with your run and God bless. Great video. Thank you.💪🏼🙏🏻❤️
ОтветитьAvoid air quotes. It's not the 90s, and you're not a Friends character
ОтветитьMeh. I can wear my shokz in the shower or heavy rain. Never had a problem. The unique charger is annoying but I don’t mind it too much because it saves me a micro amount of time being magnetic.
ОтветитьWhich headphones do you find have the strongest bluetooth connectivity to your Garmin watch? Seems like a lot of bluetooth headphones cut in and out while playing music during a run. Wondering if you have a pair that you would recommend to avoid this issue?
ОтветитьSiri or watch does a lot of things like skip track
ОтветитьDo these have a mic? How does that project? I need a set with a great mic....
Ответить😂😂😂😂 lol
ОтветитьI’ve been looking for headphones but the earbuds slip and over/on ear headsets hurt my ears because of the glasses. These bone conducting ones seems to be a great alternative but I want to know the sound quality
ОтветитьBone condudcting headphones are perfect for swimming. I'm happy to use aftershokz xtrainerz
ОтветитьWif Wif Wif
ОтветитьBut bone conducting headphones should not be able to hear it if no touching to our body. This is looking like fake one. Are you sure this is a real bone conducting?
ОтветитьMine are cutting In And out
ОтветитьWhich are the 'loudest' for a person who can only use bone conductive to hear
ОтветитьNot using a standard charger is a deal breaker for me.
ОтветитьOne thing to consider, are you going to use your headset to actually talk on your phone? Shokz has a version with a short boom mic and while it may not seem like it would make a lot of difference, it does.
Especially if you are using these in a business environment, you're better off with the boom mic. If you just listen and don't use them to talk do what makes you happy.
My opinion on the sound is that any of these are not sound quality headsets and it seems to me (without trying them) the extra bass would bother me. Even the Shokz tend to vibrate enough on heavy bass that it more or less "tickles" my neck. I don't think I'd care for even more vibration.
I'll deal with the proprietary charge cable for the additional call quality to the other party.
Thank you for this great review. I'd like to know...the Philips you showed come out with a specific app to change between the two mods? Is the app availaable to be downloaded on Android smartphones? Thank you again
ОтветитьI got the Shokz a few years back and they're still not only the best headphones, but the best electronic device I have ever bought!
The magnetic charger allows for bettee sweatand water resistance and they sound amazing both listening to, and speaking through them.
I can also listen for hours without some uncomfortable earbud making my ear sore or itchy from sweat buildup. No complaints here!
I've had 3 pairs of shokz and never lost a single charging cable of the six they gave me. The magnets work awesome too. I keep one in the car and one in the house so it's hard to forget one unless I'm traveling.
ОтветитьDoes it have an SD card reader?
Ответитьnice introduce
ОтветитьI remember the bone phones One would drape around their shoulders like a priest.
ОтветитьHey man nice job on the video.
ОтветитьI'm new at this. So you don't download the music to the earphones and you still need to run with your iphone. Right?
ОтветитьI personally prefer the magnetic charging cables, as they allow for a higher level of water resistance. Good to know that there are some headphones on the market which don't require it!
ОтветитьI'm sorry, but I find it hard to justify . the sound quality of bone conductors in general is inferior no matter what you do . paying 100$ will result in the same sound quality of no-brand 20-40$ bone conducting headphones.I tested it and was surprised. Going underwater a USB-C connector becomes a real downside . the magnetic 4 pin cable is the way to keep the headphones IP68 waterproof. many Chinese brands today make good bone conducting headphones. not the crap it used to be.
ОтветитьMonologue
ОтветитьDude is showing man boobs while jogging
ОтветитьI can't stand that i get ads for cheap knock offs of the skokz brand and they repeatedly use pics and videos of shokz of open run etc in there ads as if you are buying the shokz, i did buy a cheap pair years ago and just thought it was speakers not proper bone conduction .... open ear i think it was called. Im sticking with my old Aftershokz
ОтветитьWhile you like these this is where it loses me if others can here it then its not TRUE bone conduction headphones, as they transmit the sound via vibrations on the check bone, not via air there is a difference because no matter how loud they are no one can ever hear it.
ОтветитьCan I swim in these? If it has usb-c does that mean not waterproof?
ОтветитьHow do you turn on mp3 pkayer?
ОтветитьThats a stupid deal breaker. Moving on to a less stupid video.
ОтветитьI get severe ear pain from using earbuds or on-ear headphones (I mean the kind of pain that turns my ears bright red).
(I'd need those custom molded earbuds but they cost over 1000 USD and I cannot afford that).
And over-ear headphones are way to bulky to train with.
Bone conduction could be the only option for me.
But it seems the bass/thump is not really that good on bone conduction.
Which one is the absolute best in terms of audio quality? Or should I wait longer for new technology? I don't expect some godlike bass/thump, but it should be noticeable.
Standardizing on wireless charging for that sealed up IP** rating ideally.
ОтветитьHit like for the faulconer soundtrack
ОтветитьThe Shoxz openmove has USB-C charging, it's the cheapest one in the lot, and IMO, the softest (in terms of volume), maybe I got a bad unit
ОтветитьI never get to experience this type of audio set. Looks cool
ОтветитьAnyone have a tip to clean the little holes out? I wipe them down at the end of the day, but it just slowly builds up. It's frustrating.
ОтветитьLove my shokz
