Man’s flourishing is the issue. That starts with good children, who are raised in healthy environment.

This movie is an attempt to attribute human evil to an external cause. Military Communists are a huge threat to the human race.

I faintly remember my dad watching this movie years and years ago. I didn’t know the name, and have been trying to figure out what this movie was called for SOOOOOOOO long!!!!! But I think I have finally found the movie that I was thinking of!!!!

Pretty good trailer for a absolutely fantastic, deceptively smart as hell movie.
For the trailer, perhaps they should have begun with a few more hints as to the satirical elements, interspersed later with the epic action all set to the "Klendathu Drop" track for that pure Poledouris awesomeness. People would not have been able to stay away.

Where's the reboot? And more importantly, a screen adaptation that is faithful to the book? The book has even more aliens, part of the bootcamp training, and also powersuits. Ever see Avatar, or Edge of Tomorrow, or Elysium? PowerSuits originated in the Starship Troopers book.

FIGHT ALIENS

The sad part about this is they just slagged off the mech suits because the $$ would have been too much to make it feasible. A true remake of this one, with modern effects and the mechs would be incredible.

ST is the sci-fi movie made by Paul Verhoeven that is sci-fi by P.V. for people who doesn't think Robocop and Total Recall is so very interesting.

Total Recall is ok, but Robocop? Seriously? It's a movie for children. If you suggest that movie to your date, she will laugh.
