God Forbid - Reunion Mini-Documentary - "Gone But Not Forever"

Gone Forever and Constitution of Treason have been mind openers for me in terms oh music. They have helped he basically “relearn” the fretboard and i’ve unlocked new things due to this band. Thank you guys 🤘🤘

Nick is every single chill ass dude I ever met while living in San Diego. And I mean that in the absolute best way. But more than that, with his skill set and professionalism, I’m glad he helped round out the lineup.

As many have mentioned on here, I think a throwback tour with the other heavyweight cats from the NWOAHM crew would be unreal but hey… we can only hope.

I love these guys. I’ve met Byron a few times just hanging outside of the venues listening to music, he always had time to talk for a minute and was always extremely polite.

My introduction to good forbid was at the odeon in Cleveland Ohio. They opened for chimaira 02ish. Played an amazing show! I immediately started buying all of their music.

Don’t know if you guys remember drinking with some Air Force guys at the New Age Club in Treviso Italy back in 07 but thank you for a memory I’ll never forget. We all threw back some Jager after meeting in that small ass smoke area.

then i also caught you guys on a metal compilation c.d. that one of My homeboys older brothers had! Then I was hooked! You guys are amazing! I been a fan for over 20 years now easy (if not more!) I've had ALL your albums. Yes ALL OF 'EM. ALL!!!! LMAO. I've seen you guys play the Chance theater in Poughkeepsie NY DOZENS UPON DOZENS OF TIMES. Me and my boys came to all your chance appearances for a good 10 year stretch there. Just sayin' man, my point is, THIS MAKES ME VERY HAPPY. Very happy! I LOVE YOU GUYS ABSOLUTELY .

At a time where we exchanged mp3s at LANs, I found a few folders of your music, then saw you playing with Devil Driver in Hamburg fifteen years ago. Tonight I thought about the fact that I miss these old school documentaries of bands showing their progress and their work behind the scenes, and you guys pop up. Thank you. <3

Edit: I love the fact that Nick mentions the feeling of an era. Not only playing songs, but try to feel the purpose of a riff, a groove and lines that make a band a band.

One of my all time favorite bands, dudes are so underrated. I remember buying and listening to Gone Forever for the first time, I was absolutely hooked. Such a great band.

I was a sophomore in high school when a friend gave me God Forbid's EP cassette for Determination. It was the first time I ever heard metal and it. Changed. My. Life. I've been a metalhead ever since.

Underrated band. First discovered then when they played the uk with Stampin Ground just after Determination dropped. Been a fan ever since. ✊🤘

I will never forget seeing God Forbid 3 times aboard Headbangers Boat 2023. Seeing them in San Diego with Bleeding Through in 2 weeks. I cannot thank this band enough for coming back. We needed them more than we knew we did.

Best Metalcore band. Their songs ruled and were the most unique.
