Hi. Thanks for this video. I've been struggling with this issue for a while. I have a channel, and I'm going to be releasing original music videos on it, but I will also be releasing related content that isn't music (interviews, behind the scenes videos, etc.) I don't really want to put that stuff on a separate channel, so I was wondering what I'd be losing by not going with OAC (other than checkmark and combined followers). Is there some kind of synergistic benefit to OAC (juicing the algorithms, more crossover views)? I worry I'll be losing some independence if I use it, and also putting my revenue collection completely in the hands of one entity (the distributor). Thanks for any input you can give. 🙂

I left it because OAC channels don't get the inspiration tab and I was ready to move on from music. Also another way to explain it is that it's basically like a time machine where get it reverted is like you never had it.

Do you lose subscribers that subbed to your OAC after it was merged?

Wait so what happens if I want to keep this current OAC and all my releases, but simply change my name on distrokid? I'm still unclear on it
