It's useless. As the finest grind setting is not enough for speciality espresso coffees.... Also everything for Espresso is within the last milimeter of the grind wheel. between 1.5 to 1. anything else on the wheel is not for espresso

Just received my Mahlkonig X54. Purchased directly from Mahlkonig. I was slightly skeptical considering it is made in China, but I was depending on the Mahlkonig name to produce a quality grinder. WRONG! Cannot calibrate it. Followed the directions to the letter. The adjustment knob will not move the burrs. So frustrated and angry right now. As I now find that this is apparently a known issue, this X54 should never have passed inspection to be shipped. At the FINEST setting, the shot spurts through the portafilter like a broken fire hydrant. HORRIBLE.
