I had a similar thing where a scammer said to me, he was a known YT celebrity and would like to send me a power unit, all I had to do was pay for delivery, which was $150. I strung him along while sending out emails to the celebrity to check and sending out others to law enforcement in this country (Scotland). He was similar by escalating the urgency as I was awaiting responses. When I got confirmation and had passed on all the information, I told the guy I had changed my mind as I couldn't afford the delivery fee.
