Quarry Bank cotton mill

We visit the Quarry Bank Mill in Styal, Cheshire. It is said to be one of the best preserved textile factories of the Industrial Revolution. Built in 1784, the cotton mill is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II. During our visit, some of the cotton processing and weaving machinery was being run to demonstrate what it would have been like to work there.
