Russia won't stop if and when they have Ukraine, so Putin shouldn't be allowed to steal Ukraine from the Ukrainians.

Well, the only question is that Russia doesn't need Baltic sea unless Europe needs it to trade with Russia.
By now none of Europeans trade with Russia due to the sanctions.
Old USSR pipe still working through "Ukrain in war" without a single damage...

Russia's terrain to the west has been harsh to it would be aggressors, but it has equally kept it largely insular and kept away from the western world in it and it's movings. naturally some paranoia crept in some of it justified I suppose but, mostly of its own doings and of a society largely kept to its own narcicsms and personalities. It's a perfect example of how history and proximies create one world, and in the case of Russia and the west especially in this current situation and that of the past few decades, in fact half a century become their stumbling block.

put beside china vast civilization... TOO AMAZING HENCE INEVITABLY ENVIABLE... sometimes, the west couldnt be totally blamed in their never ending attempts to take over russia and china... the word is "attempts" because the west is west, east is east... neither can take over the other... it is a given structure of the material universe...

The video is right, y’all are stupid. Historically, Russia was much larger and lasted up to mid Poland. That’s why they could execute their strategy of slowly retreating till winter kills the enemy. But now many core cities, like ST. Petersburg are border towns so they can’t exactly do this

The main geographic challenge that Russia faces is it's access to the world's oceans. Or rather lack of it. Russia may have a huge coastline in the north, but it's frozen over most of the time, and therefore is unreliable. Russia has a coastline along the Pacific Ocean, but it freezes over in the winter too. Russia has 2 coastlines along the Baltic Sea. 1 is St Petersburg, but it freezes in the winter as well. 2 in Kaliningrad, which thankfully does not freeze over. However, the Baltic Sea is connected to the ocean by the narrow Danish straits, and Denmark is part of NATO, and we all know how stable NATO and Russia's relationship is. Finally, there is the Black Sea. It does not freeze over in the winter, but then again, it is only connected to the Mediterranean (and therefore the oceans) by the Turkish straits, and Turkey is again a NATO member.

Here’s the thing about Russia though, they may not have great physical natural defenses, but they have one major trump-card... The Russian Winter. Once you push deep into Russia from the west, you better have beaten them by the start of winter or you’re royally fucked.
