I hope its good but with the baggy ass suit and now the wrong dog breed, my hopes are low.
ОтветитьYes, Krypto will ruin the movie. Krypto was the beginning of the end ofsilver age, Superman. Krypto streaky Super horse all ruined Superman comics for me they insulted my 10-year-old intelligence and can’t help to do anything but do that to the new movie.
ОтветитьNot if the involvement is minimal (it would have to like 5 mins and that's it). Otherwise, this is a terrible sign of things to come, - IF, IF, mind you - we are talking about a super-powered dog. It's so meh (maybe it's to attract the pet-loving populace, I dunno). Remember "verisimilitude"? Krypto with super powers ruins that for me.
ОтветитьI believe superman 25' will make atleast as much as guardians of the Galaxy vol 3 with 800mil worldwide gross from his existing fans (which tops the underperformed wokenda n ants during marvel's declining period).Imo,TSS shouldn't have been a part of the free HBO Max streaming contents but atleast WB saw it's potential by greenlighting its sequel peacemaker b4 TSS release. That was a major streaming success too ..DC,Marvel and Marvel Studios GOTG fans loves it!
Audiences are smart!! They know the director and what he did(while being popular among major studios too). NOT because he worked with marvel. If that's the case, gotg3 wouldve share the same fate as the wokenda and ants! He already has massive amount of fans(by the millions n im 1 o em)...then add more millions from real DC fans who actually do reads DC comics like me...
but why do this ?😂😂😂😂
ОтветитьKrypto is an emotional relief for our hero's ethnic loneliness. A companion of all the lonely people who live among thousands of citizens entwinled in the economic whirlwind in every city on the planet. 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤨🤨🤨🤨
ОтветитьI think the inclusion of Krypto is a great thing, especially since I have a feeling it will be handled properly. Many against this seem stuck on some Silver Age notion of Krypto with no regard to his role in modern media. He plays a pivotal part in Tom King's rather serious Eisher Award nominated Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow comic series (2021-22) and he was adapted into live action for the Titans series and handled rather well in a show that had a serious tone.
It seems the loudest on the anti-Krypto front are the same usual suspects who declare much of Superman canon or tradition to be outdated or corny, whether it's the trunks, Jimmy Olsen, or simply a hopeful attitude and outlook. These people want a dismal, brooding portrayal of Superman in an utterly joyless film.
If Krypto is used to make Superman a secondary character in his movie, it will indeed ruin the movie. If Krypto is a pet that happens to be able to make Superman relatable, it won't ruin the movie.
ОтветитьI have always preferred my cartoon characters as real people looking the part. Why not make the effort to look like what we are used to and expecting. This dog seems a bit shaggy, but that might be alright, I'll reserve judgement til I see more than a still of him from behind. I haven't see Guy Gardner yet, but I'm sure I'd prefer him to have the lame bowl cut. As to Krtypto's cape, I think I'd like to see it. maybe we will,
ОтветитьIt might. I want a Superman SOLO movie because we never got a true sequel to MOS and I LOVED how Henry looked in his Snyder SM suit. The epic fights!!! Finally a Superman having to fight foes that lead to destruction as it would in real life and it caused a lot because he wasn't a seasoned Superman yet in MOS. This movie seems like it will be a Superman movie that turns into some sort of GOTG + some superman movie with too many other characters being involved and a dog being in it and taking up screen time dampens my mood. Feels like a ploy to try to pull at peoples heart strings and get in some laughs which may end up feeling forced and not funny at all. Marvel-ish type forced humor although that was less common in his GOTG movies compared to other Marvel flicks especially past a certain year. We'll see... I am a Superman fan and I will give the movie a shot in theaters but I HIGHLY doubt I will go see it 5X like I did with MOS in 2013 (knew people were hating on it b4 release just because Marvel was 1 year removed from 1st Avengers and people were being SHEEP and doing what other ppl were doing for on reason at all.)
To the people who like Man of Steel yet never saw it on the big screen or in IMAX, IMAX 3D... etc.... YOU MISSED OUT.
