How to Remove Read Only from USB Drive using DISKPART

Run CMD (Command Prompt)
diskpart (starts the command-line disk partitioning utility)
list disk (this will show connected Hard Drives and USB flash drives)
select disk NUMBER (example: select disk 4)
attributes disk set readonly (this will make disk 4 read only)
attributes disk clear readonly (this will remove write protection from disk 4)

Only the physical Read-Only button offers write protection on all computers, the DISKPART method has to be set on each computer and for each individual USB Flash drive!

Displayed error message while moving a file from a read-only disk:
1 Interrupted Action. The disk is write-protected. Remove the write-protection or use another disk.

Displayed error message while trying to format a write protected USB Flash drive: Cannot format. This volume is write protected. Format failed.
